Ditto Jennifer!!! I have been pretty swamped with DIY projects for the wedding and currently running behind. Can't believe December is just right around the corner. smile29.gif

I made a pre-wedding mailer (used Vista Print) and am working on a welcome book now. I had my first dress fitting last weekend and my next one is next weekend. I also started my packing list. The time is flying by. I feel like I still have so much to do!

Congratulations!

I am doing my legal ceremony on November 13th and also expect it to feel anti-climactic. I don't think we are even going to get dressed up.

Congrats Angela!!!!

FI is at the Cardinals game today so I am trying to finish as much of the DIY stuff before he gets home. I would never tell him no because I think it rox that he wants to help, but I swear it takes me twice as long when he "helps".

Hi guys I haven't been on in a while either but today is my legal ceremony before we jet off-congrats Jenn. I was wondering how you all are dealing with that issue and family...are you telling people or not before you get to the destination? We would like to keep it between us..not even tell people when we get there..any suggestions?

We haven't even gotten our marriage certificate yet.. we should get on that. I think we will wait until about a week before we leave for our wedding to get legally married. And we won't be telling anyone. I haven't done much lately, b/c I have been studying to take the GMAT this week but after this is done I will be full steam ahead!

Happy November everyone! We all in the month countdowns :o)

Yea for checks Jill! I can't wait to see your planning thread

I totally had my first break down last night. I cried over the bustle that was added to my dress because I hate it and think it looks all flat and boring. I'm going to take it back to the alteration place, but am going to be charged to get it fixed and it just made me mad at myself that I signed for it in the first place. Oh well, what's another dollar to the budget fryingpan.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
