We are honeymooning later in June (we have to come back right after our wedding for FI to finish school - he's a teacher) - but the good thing is that I can get my review posted for everyone right away!
We arrive on June 2nd, OH we plan on going to Melia and maybe cabo wabo Saturday night, you guys could me up with us if you have time..

I still have some DIY crap to do that I have ZERO motivation to do, and I'm doing my "hopefully" last dress fitting today.

How about you, how's your stuff coming along? Maybe I will pretend i'm doing a site visit at dreams for your wedding and crash it.. lol

I have my FIRST dress fitting today!! I got in a big fight with them over the past 2 weeks b/c my dress took forever to get in. I hope it fits and there are minimal alterations! FI's parents' passports finally got here yesterday - those were my biggest stress!

 

We still have to finalize our ceremony and do our programs and a bunch of other little things for OOT bags and our guest info letter. Plus our seating charts and place cards. Hopefully this weekend we'll get more done, it is never ending! I really don't want to do anything while I'm in Cabo except enjoy time with our guests so I have to get it all done soon...

 

Maybe we will meet you on June 2?? FUN! We have our rehearsal dinner that night and I'm sure people will go out afterward. Not sure if it's really a good idea for me to go out in Cabo the night before my wedding, though... You SHOULD come by Dreams on June 3 - you can be my spy on checking how the set up is going while I'm getting ready!

It's amazing how many Dreams couples are on this site!

 

I was there in June last year and you definitely want to shoot for the evening. I think 6 or 6:30 will be fine. It can get pretty hot there but the sunset off the beach is fantastic.

 

My wedding will be in March but I am not so sure about the weather then. We haven't nailed down times yet.

Im getting married on june 19, 08' Brandy, we will probably get to meet! I am planning the ceremony for 6pm...I feel this gives us enough time to have a cocktail hour and it still will not be too hot at this time. I think we are planning to start dinner by 730.

We have started planning only a little though. We have our photographer and Ive spoke a little to Yessica about what we want. I believe we have the gazebo for our location and our cocktail hour/reception will be at the Oceana terrace. Honestly thats it though. I guess Mariana is our coordinator at Dreams but she really hasnt contacted me. Yesica said she would be emailing me soon but she hasnt. Im a little freaked out about that. I have heard great things about the services at Dreams so that is calming me down.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
