Just started getting into planning our dw and it is so hard to choose a hotel. Help me. :) My name is Monica and we are getting married 09/09/09. Please let me know if you have already had your wedding or stayed at the hotel you choose for your wedding. Thanks

I don't think anyone can help you. You need to narrow down to a country at least. What is perfect for one person may not work out for you. There are so many reviews available on here and photos also. Try reading some of those and see what appeals to you. September is not too far away so I would try contacting some resorts soon. Some may already be booked for the day you want

Welcome! I agree with Bianca. It is such a personal choice. We new we wanted Mexico and we new we wanted an AI and allowed children so we narrow it down from there. We started at Dreams Cancun and ended up at Riu Sante Fe in Cabo. I would talk with a TA and get some ideas and pricing. There are some great ones here on the forum that can help you. Good Luck!

Thank you ladies for replying so fast. I actually have narrowed it down to Riviera Maya area. I really had picked out Dreams Puerto Adventuras, but then I read some bad reviews on Trip Advisor. Now, I have been leaning towards Catalonia Riviera Maya, but I worry about the wc. I just don't fill comfortable about not being able to secure a date right away. I know I need to decide and my fiance has left the decision up to me. Any more advice?? :) Thanks

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
