I know I shouldn't worry because it just opened. I just don't want 9 months from now my guest to have brown water as stated on Trip Advisor. Blkatz - Why did you chose Tulum over PA? The Tulum location looks beautiful!! Maybe I should think about that location instead to be safe. This is driving me crazy. :)

Congrats Monica. I have witnessed and am now planning my wedding at Catalonia Riviera Maya. I have already set the date and had no problems at all. If you email the wedding coordinator, Elena, every day then she will get back to you. Just be persistent. I saw a wedding there last November and it was absolutly beautiful. Elena has been great at getting back to me and has helped me with every detail so far.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome and Congrats!

I would suggest checking out different reviews on the forum and also look into pricing and figure out which will fit in to your budget better. The forum helped me choose my location and the majority of my vendors too! OoOo also try creating a comparison chart between the resorts and that might help make the choice clear. Lay out the important questions based on what you want your wedding to be like and then you will be able to see which one would be a better choice for you!

Hi Monica

I agree with Bianca, the more specific you are, the easier it is for us to help you out with everything.

If you're thinking Mexico (Vallarta, Can Cun or beautiful Cabo), 09/09/09 might be free, since it's a low season.

Anyways, Happy planning

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
