Calling all November 2009 Brides!

Recommended Posts

OMG Keira 8:30 in the morning? I would have died lol. We didn't get to bed until after 4am sometime. We aimed for noon. Our photogs were staying at the hotel so it was pretty flexible. We were kind of just waiting out the weather. I'd say about an hour into the shoot it got pretty bad out. We had to take a few breaks because of the rain and the waves in the water were freakin violent lol. You can see in some of the pics that I'm hanging on to DH for dear life. They were knocking me over, so we couldn't do any laying in the water shots because I prob would have drowned lol. By the end of it I was absolutely freezing. It was the wind that was making it so intolerable, well and of course being soaking wet lol. But I was really happy with my pics! They had a really different look to them :)

What can I say I'm an early bird. lol. Steve doesn't drink so I wanted to be on my best behaviour too. Our small group was tired so we got to be around midnight. That being said with our AHR not long off I'm getting excited to "let my hair down" and dance the night away.

That's a bit crumby about how the day turned out but you have the right attitude about it. If the pictures turned out hot, who cares what you had to go through to get them. :-)

November 13 at Dreams Cancun Here!

I sooo want a TTD...but I have 2 main concerns:

1. What in the world will I do with my TTD pictures besides posting them on my siggy on this forum and placing them in an album that will be soon left to collect dust

2. How the heck will I manage to wake up after a late night of partying and try to look somewhat presentable for these pictures

My photog is coming with me to Cancun from my hometown, and she offered me an engagement session OR a TTD...I can't decide which to pick!

Chipotle99, your concerns about the TTD session is valid. If you feel uncomfortable about the TTD, why not just go with an engagement session? Personally, I think both options are great. Maybe an engagement shoot in your hometown would be something you'd want to remember?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
