Hi Guys I just found another photographer he offered me a GREAT deal so i am a little skeptical.. Has anyone on here ever heard of him?? Luckie Photography His name is Ivan? Anyways he offered me a full day of photos, Engagement shots, TTD pictures all for 1500$ (no prints just a jpeg CD) Does this sound fishy to you guys toohuh.gif

Thank you for all this great information! I am considering a DW in Mayan and thinking about photographers. I am debating whether to bring my own from my city or to hire the ones you mentioned that work in the area. What is everyone's thoughts on this. Has anyone had any problems dealing with the photogs from abroad?

make sure the photos on disc are all high resolution. have you been able to see any of his work? do you know anyone who has used him? sounds like a great deal if you don't mind not receiving prints, but maybe a little too good to be true? does the $1500 include travel, resort fees, taxes? to me, engagement, wedding, and TTD sound like 3 separate days' worth of his time. are you sure they aren't $1500 per DAY?

he might just be someone new trying to get some clients. I would check things out, but it's very likely that he is legit & offering that price.
yeah i looked at the website too and really like his work! under packages, it says the photos are burned to DVD at print size for 6x7. so for anyone wanting larger prints, you will not have high enough resolution.

overall, really nice stuff, and he looks legit.

I loved his work as well and then with the price i was like wait one minute...lol I am going to confirm with him that its not 1500$ per day...good one? I dont know it just seems fishy and too good to be true!! I hope someone on here has used him before.. I will def. keep you updated :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
