    My DIY project of the day is putting petal toss bags together since my class got cancelled due to the school roads being flooded (yay!).

    Anyone have wording ideas for this? I found some awhile ago, but now despite googling my brains out, I can't find anything!

      I like these ones;

      "Throw petals of wishes for the new Mr. & Mrs."

      "To toss in the air and sprinkle around
      To shower the couple so that joy will abound.
      When [bride] and [groom] exit as a pair,
      please joyously toss your petals high in the air!"

        Melissa you always find the cutest things!!

        Jessica what are you putting your rose petals in? I have been debating between these dolie things or organza bags?

          I like the 2nd verse....so cute! I hadn't even considered a petal toss. So many details involved in a wedding...I'm feeling overwhelmed.

            thanks melissa. i'm using the second verse.

            i'm going with organza bags, printing the instructions on cards (business sized), hole punching them in the corner, and attaching them to the organza bag tie strings.

            the only downside is that my WC gets to put the actual petals in because she's ordering the flowers there for me. it kinda makes me sad i won't be able to do the whole thing start to finish.

            me=control freak!

                I think it's a great idea. There are so many things I would like to do for our wedding but with a handful of guests it just doesn't seem worth it. :-((

                  I love that wording. I'm thinking of using ecofetti, I figure its cheaper then flowers and comes in lots of pretty colors and no worries afterwards.

                    Kelly that ecofetti is great. Do you think with only 5 guests it would look weird to do a confetti toss?

                      I don't think it will look weird. It will look great for pictures and I'm sure guests would enjoy it.
