first wedding-related nightmare!

well it was bound to happen sooner or later ... the first wedding dream/nightmare!

it was the day of the wedding and i realized i totally forgot the bose system and my ipod (which is what we're using for all our music)! i was in my dress, running around stressed out and SOBBING LOUDLY when someone fetched tom. he is holding the bose system and says, "it's right here! it was in my carry-on!" and for a second i was thrilled until i realized i was the one with the ipod so we still didn't have ANY music ... and then i FLIP OUT because he's not supposed to see me in the dress! and then i flip some more because it was 10 minutes after the wedding was supposed to start and we have no music and don't know what to do! do we just walk out there to NOTHING? it was all very emotional and dramatic ... "the wedding is RUINED!" sob, sob

then i woke up. :)

(my dress wasn't my dress, we weren't even in mexico, and the wedding in the dream was at 3 not 5, so i'm not too worried, LOL!)

oh no! its murder when you have dreams that are soo real isn't it!?

well at least you know that if you do forget anything, it won't be your ipod or sound system! cheesy.gif

we are also planning on taking our ipod and bose speakers for our wedding reception, which just so happens to be EXACTLY one year after yours! (freaky) I look forward to hearing your review to hear how the set up works out!

I can totally relate! I had a dream a few nights ago that I was getting married in one of our local grocery stores...which i refer to as "scary food city"! I was literally wakling down the isle! But my attitude was "well let's do it anyway!" Let's hope if things go wrong on the big day that will still be my attitude!

At least they're all dreams! I had one a few nights ago that one of my best guy friends tried to stop me from marrying FI because he secretly wanted to be the one I married. I made the mistake of telling Stu this and now he's paranoid about this guy. We've been friends since 1 month old (if you can really consider an infant a friend) and I've never ever looked at him in that light. And the guy lives in Dubai!

I haven't had any yet, but I know I will. I always have dreams about being late, so I'm guessing these will be no different. My dream this morning actually made me late - I dreamed I couldn't get my alarm on my iPhone to go off (I use it as my alarm clock)...I just kept hitting the button and nothing would happen, then I wake up and my alarm had been going off for like 45 minutes!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
