Hi ladies,

Just wanted to introduce myself...I am new to the boards and also getting married at the Excellence Playa Mujeres! I've tried reading through all the messages..and its funny because I was able to get MOST if not all of my questions answered through you ladies and not Yamina. sad.gif

I just wanted to thank you all for this thread..even if I am not getting much of a response from her, from what I gather, I wont be disappointed.

I see you're getting married in just a few short weeks! Congratulations..are you all set? I would love to see your pics! Did you hire a photographer or will you be using the resorts photographer?

Hi Jewels:

I am bringing my own photographer he is really great. At one point he was a vendor on here but I'm not sure if he still is. I also found out that the videographer the resort uses is Cancun Wedding Videos. So just a word of advice...I coincidentally emailed him for prices before asking the resort who they used. His name his Mike Cantrell and a lot of girls on here use him. The prices he sent me are cheaper than the resort prices!! Not by that much but every little bit helps! The resort has obvisouly added more money to the prices to make a profit. I am thinking that I will book through him and just pay the resort fee.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
