Excellence Playa Mujeres Brides Post Here!

Recommended Posts

I will be having my cocktail hour at X-lounge and I am also getting married at 6.

MSG I have bridesmaids with different bodies so what I did was pick out 5 different dresses at Davids Bridal (I only have 4 bm) so that they could choose what they wanted to wear. My suggestion would be to have them all wear the same material that way they can at least look cohesive. For example maybe they all wear silk gowns or cotton.

I'm not sure, I'm thinking we will need an hour for photos...so actually i would like the cocktail hour to start right after the ceremony so my guests will be entertained...What are you doing? Are you taking photos after the ceremony or waiting till next day?

Thank you sooo much for the information!!!

We just received confirmation of our wedding time too - 2:00pm will be our beach ceremony...and then we'll follow that with the coctail hour at the X-Lounge!

Talk to you all soon,
Rebecca

Hey what projects are you working on... I am trying to send out invites by the end of next week. I know I know its really sad that I am just now getting them in the mail, but I sent out STD in October and I already have an idea who will be attending and who will not.

I also keep debating on where I would like to marry on the beach or in the gazebo. Anyone else confusedhuh.gif

I felt the same way, but I think a big factor is many guests you have. I'm not sure exactly how many people the gazebo can hold, but it looks pretty small. It's gorgeous, however I also LOVE the idea of getting married on the beach and walking barefoot. So beach wedding for me!

thope,

I was just reading about this on another thread! I read what a few other girls had to say and my FI and I have decided to take pictures before the ceremony. I never thought I would want to do it that way, but it makes the most sense to us. For a few reasons:

1.I would love to join my guests during the cocktail hour and I don't want to have to pull people away from it either.

2. With the sunset wedding most likely it wouldn't be bright enough for pictures.

3. I want to capture my FI and my reaction to eachother in an intimate setting.

4. Also all nerves are out the window when it comes time for the ceremony.

Hello, Im planning my wedding at this resort as well. Originally I wanted to have my wedding at the Secrets Maroma but the date I wanted its already taken. Anyway, I have not been to EPM but I read a lot of reviews and I think its going to be good. I just wanted to know how was your experience when planning your wedding with them, any suggestions? Thanks.

I like the idea of the gazebo (I think the max is 42 people) but the beach would be fun too. I like that it is off to the side of the resort so that there aren't people walking around during your ceremony.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
