I wanted to walk to somewhere over the rainbow too...I'm worry about having separate songs for bridal party and myself, cause the song is so long it's going to get cut off anyway. Is anyone just using the same song for bridesmaids and the bride? I don't really think I need my own song, I'm pretty sure the guests will know which girl is the bride ;-)

I think you could definitely have the same song for yourself and your bridesmaids. I am thinking about switching in between, but I wonder who would be in charge of changing the music? My wedding coordinator is actually performing the ceremony since it's going to be symbolic. I was thinking Marry Me by Train for the bridal party, then Somewhere Over the Rainbow for me, and then the Beatles Here Comes the Sun for us to walk to after the ceremony. But I could change my mind on all that by then! :)

That is a pretty song! We might just have to change that to our Document Signing song.

            Thanks for sharing!!!

Has anyone else had kettle drums at their ceremony?  We thought live music would be a nice touch, but we're having a hard time choosing songs that will still sound great played on steel drums!  I'm thinking of doing Here comes the bride for myself, but I'm not decided on any of the others.  We're doing it in Jamaica so we're thinking of maybe something by Bob Marley on the way out, but I want it to still be classy.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

my wedding was 8 days ago and the night before i decided on my wedding music!

bridesmaids walked to "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys

I walked to "From this moment"  by Shania Twain

signing papers and walking out were Bob Marley songs

I am not thinking something by Jack Johnson as his songs are very beachy and laid-back.  I guess he does live in Hawaii so go figure!

I meant "now" instead of "not" - I think it is past my bedtime!
