What are you walking down the Aisle to?

I wanted to tribute some music to my grandparents who raised me listening to Elvis and Johnny Cash. They are not here to be at our wedding. It's my own way to honor them.

Pre ceremony music is going to go from 50's to current.

Elvis - can't help but falling in love

Johnny cash - walk the line

Righteous brothers - unchained melody

Elton john- your song

Peter Gabriel - your eyes

Mazzy Star - fade into you

Fiest- Brandy Alexander

Then music will increase and my children will walk down to

The Killers - Shot at the night

I will walk to The Killers - Dustland fairytale

Now to plan cocktail music!

I love all these suggestions. How are you queuing your music I have no idea how long my walk will be they told me to bring it on an iPod and there would be a guy to hit play. ... How did everyone know what length to do? They said 3 songs for while guests wait. Bridal party entrance, bride entrance and a song when we leave. Just not sure how to make this run smooth. Cause clearly the songs will not play in full .... I would love to hear what all you beUties are doing?

Our resort had a sound system they played it thru. I just had to tell them the songs and they would fade out so the next could start. I didn't have to provide anything on iPod though. I assume the WC and the DJ were communicating so he knew how large the bridal party was to know when the music could end?? Hahaha it wasn't their first wedding so they knew what to do.

Maybe email your WC to ask how they execute it?

I found a song last week and I'm almost certain it's what I want to use. It's The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. I love it, and it's just what I was looking for.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
