Help me pick on a hair color!

I have a hair appointment on Saturday for color, trim and trial updo for the wedding. I was going to keep it my current color with low lights and highlights. However, my FI likes my hair darker better and looking back at pictures I think I do too. My hair gets really light in the sun so I know it will get super blonde in Mexico if I keep it the way it is now.

This is my current hair color, but it is a little longer:

This is my hair dark brown with some red in it, this was taken on New Year's so I am very pale:

This was about 7 years ago (notice how much younger and and thinner I look, ha ha!!!), my hair was a similar reddish brown as the above picture, but with blonde highlights. I really liked my hair like this and this was when I had a little bit of a tan.

I think I am leaning towards the last one, but which color do you think will look best?

Here are some of my hair inspirations ideas for the wedding day style:

I'm going to try really hard to not get my hair chopped off on Saturday since I do want to wear my hair up for the wedding, but I hate my hair long. I think I look way better with short hair. That will be another thread after the wedding!

I absolutely LOVE your hair dark! -It just brings out your features more.

And I LOVE<LOVE>LOVE your hair inspirations!!!!!!

You really can't go wrong with any of them!

***Now me being selfish, how can I go about saving those photos for myself?

I read about putting things in a file? I just don't know how.

You are going to look BEAUTIFUL!

I thnk the fact that I am blonde and look like shilz with dark hair always makes me like the dark hair better. But hands down, that is what I like. It always makes me jealous cuz the only time dark hair works for me is when I am super tan.

So my vote is for dark and I agree with Maura - trim only!

Oh yeah, and great inspiration photos!

You should just be able to right click on the photos and save them to your computer. Or if on a Mac control + click.

I took all my hair pics to my stylist, and she said if I went back to all dark with how light my hair is now it would fade really fast especially with being in the sun in Mexico. She suggested doing more lo-lites in a darker color and then I can always go back to all dark after the wedding. Well, after she did the lo and hi-lites we decided it looked too dark and washed me out so she went and put a few more hi-lites in around my face. I really like how the color turned out. I only got a trim, but I did make an appointment for the say after we get back for a hair cut! I can't wait! I wanted the first hairstyle, but she said my hair wasn't long enough and the bun wouldn't look as full so she did a looser messy style. Once she was done she put her fingers where the little flowers would be pinned (I want to get those same white flowers in the one picture if I can). I think in Mexico I will have to get the style a little tighter since some of the pieces started to fall out by the time I got home. The pics look kind of weird since there are no flowers so use your imagination.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
