So I went to the Doctor Today...

I went to the doctor today at the recommendation of my trainer. I have been working my butt off and a bird gets to eat more food than I. And I haven't lost any weight. I'm tired all the time and don't feel like doing anything.

The doctor ran some test: Thyroid, Anemia and diebets. All three run in my family. She doesn't think I have any of them, but wants to make sure. She thinks I'm under a little bit of stress and thinks I need to give my self a break. I don't know where she would get that idea from: planning a wedding and paying for it ourselves, job sucks, trying to sell FI house and to top things off I had to take my 9 yr old daughter for a EKG and chest x ray because she is having chest pains. (Her doctor just think it reflex but wants to make sure).

For those that don't know my sense of humor I joking about not knowing why I'm stressed.

I feel better getting that off my chest. I think some wine might help also. Thanks for letting me vent.

It sounds like you do have a lot of stress right now. Getting to your doctor to get everything checked out is a good idea. That way you'll at least know what's going on and you can deal with it then.

It's amazing how crappy stress can make a persons body feel. I'm with ya' there!

Good luck with everything and keep us updated :)

Sorry you are stressed sad.gif It can be very difficult, especially for women to loose weight. It's great that you had your thyroid ect. tested. Any of those things can put a damper in weight loss. Don't be too hard on yourself, and remember you have to eat enough calories to be able to burn fat. Never skip breakfast, even if you aren't hungry, and drink lots of water. Let us know about your bloodwork :)

You def sound super stressed! I think you need to try to relax a little. That wine sounds like a good start. I know its natural to worry about your daughter but hopefully it will just be acid reflux and she can take over the counter prilosec or something like that.

I hope all your tests come back negative! Keep us posted! I'm sending you healthy vibes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
