I would love it if I could have a style where none of my hair is being shown. That's why I was leaning towards a lace front. The invisible braids seem to be a perfect solution really but from what it sounds like my hair is too long for the invisible braids 'look' to work.
What do you want it to look like? I KNOW I can find a breathable, light weight, BELIEVEABLE looking synthetic lace front wig that will do exactly what you're describing for UNDER $100. I just need to know what style you are leaning toward. These things have combs back and front so they are very secure...open "wefts" so lots of air and your head doesn't get all hot....I really love 'em. And they come in all sorts of styles. Tell me length, curly/straight or whatever and we can go from there trying to track one down.

Do you have a picture of what your describing? Or are you describing a lace front wig? You said they have combs attached to them? Are you speaking of a half lace front wig? LOL if that exists. I'm not real familar with them. This would be my first.

Unless it's a FULL lace wig, all of them are only lace in the front. The reason these can be afforadable is because you can buy either a human hair lace front/full lace wig or synthetic. If you're only wanting it for your big day, I'd go with synthetic and save some major money. They have the extra lace in the front that can either be glued to your forehead below the hairline OR clipped off to blend into your hairline.

I need style ideas before I can come up with pics lady..give up the goods and tell me what you're thinking of.

My hair inspiration is all over the place... definitely don't know what I'm doing with my hair yet! I almost always wear my hair pulled back (like the 1st pic) so I'd love to do something a little more special for the big day.... decisions, decisions....

thanks for this thread. i have shoulder length (a little longer) natural hair. i want to be able to get my hair wet and not have to worry about it. i think i am going with braids. it was not my first option, but it is the only thing that i can think of that will last 2 weeks. plus i can curl it, wear it straight, get it wet, everything. for the wedding i think i will wear a bun. i was gonna try the wild and curly cuz i love that, but my hair has never been in jamaica heat and my wedding is not the time to try it out. also my fi has said repeatedly that he does not want me having hair frustration during our honeymoon, so braids it is. i an still looking for styles since my hair is longer and its even longer when i blow it out to get the braids.

Yup!

Crochet is what we call it here in the midwest. I hadn't seen it called "tree braids" til last year at some point. It's a good option, considering there's no weft to bulk up your head, and if you can have your hair braided small and tight enough, you should have decent versatility. Your hair would be corn rowed with the weaving hair (unbound) "crocheted" through the cornrows. You wouldn't have to worry about your hair doing whatever it naturally does since it will be underneath.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
