You should probably make it double sided. One side have US to pesos and on the other side have pesos to US. That way if you are at a small restaurant or shop and they have prices in pesos, you won't get ripped off.

Tammy, they rate does change daily. I suggest you make this a last minute DIY. Usually the change is not drastic, so the couple of days your guests are in Mexico, the change shouldn't be that much. Also, street vendors will usually round off currently its 11.2 pesos to US$1 so they just round to 11 pesos.

This is a total must have! At a number of the restaurants menus are printed in dollar. However, for the tourist shops and such it's in pesos.

I am debating if I should make a liitle booklet including both currency conversion and spansh phrase book.

Thanks Amy! I didn't even think of this.

Be carefull with this beacuse down here many places take 1 dolar for 10 pesos 10.50 and if its really high 11 pesos it doesn´t matter what the exchange is, because no body checks this every day, so to avoid confussion they will just have 1 dolar for 10 pesos or 11 pesos at the most so don´t really trust this, just as advice so you don´t get any surprises!

Hopefully this has worked and I've attached an Excel file that my husband made for me so I could make business card sized currency converters for the wedding guests. The formula is at the top of the page so when you are ready to print yours out find out what the exchange rates are and change those fields. We did Peso's - US$ - CDN$ - GB pounds - both ways.

If you print the page you get four on one page. We cut them out and laminated them with the two sides back to back. Then they fit just nicely in the pocket of the folders we are putting together.
