That's 7 votes for W Times Square...I think you have your answer :)

Seriously though, it's very modern and the rooms are spacious for NYC. The bathrooms are really cool and the whole hotel has a cool vibe. When you come in at night it's really lively and fun. Check out the website to see pics of the rooms and stuff - you won't be disappointed!

One thing I've noticed from the bathrooms in the photos though is that they're crowded. It sort of looks like The Four Seasons New York or The Sofitel might be nicer in that category. Then again, we're sort of getting away from the "modern" theme with those two and more into the "contemporary" design.

The Westin is nice and less expensive than the W. The W has a GREAT bar in it though!

Ok so yeah the W is a great hotel but so last year...The Gansevoort is the trendy place this week :) It is not in Times Square but it is a short train/cab ride away.

Awesome! I love what they have on their site, it'll definitely be one of the options. It is a little ways from the Times Square/Central Park area though.

The Mandarin Oriental is looking very promising too! It's right next to Central Park.

            • Hotel Gansevoort
            • Mandarin Oriental Hotel
            • Marriott Marquis (still need to throw it in there)
            • Sofitel Hotel
            • W Times Square

If price isn't an issue, what about the Mercer Hotel? The location is INCREDIBLE! Soho is my favourite. The restaurant/bar (the Mercer Kitchen) is awesome too.

My guess is location, and clientele. Soho is an amazing area and there aren't as many hotels there as there are in times square, and I guess they want to attract a certain type of visitor...? Not too sure!

Bump! It's getting closer to decision time so I wanted to see if I could get anymore opinions or referrals.

                      Thanks
