I got the poloroid camera and film, but I may decide to just use a digital camera and bring a portable printer with me because I want to be able to save the photos.

yeah i do think thats a great idea too - if for some reason we changed our mind about the wipeboard, i defo think the above book would be the next option. But i know what we are like, we would end up sticking the book up in the loft and only looking at it when we get round to clearing the loft of all the junk we through up there!! But with the wipeboard, i'd get the photos made up the same idea as in the picture at the start of this thread, and hang it up somewhere in the house!

I plan on using the board in my pictures too. I'm going to put the picture of the guest with their "board message" in the photo guest book.

I got the book from Beau-Coup.com. You can buy the Poloroid camera on there too, but you have to buy the film somewhere else (I found mine on Amazon.com). I got a coupon code from Beau Coup, but I've misplaced it. It's the same code that was posted in the coupons thread- http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t6722

Personalized Instant Photo Guest Book

I would have preferred a leather bound book, but the one I got seems to be very well made and I think it will hold up for a long time.

i know, i know ... NOT *ANOTHER* PROJECT! smile105.gif
smile27.gif I have been avoiding the craft store to buy brown ribbon (it's really hard to find coral colored ribbon- so I gave up and decided to do brown, my second wedding color, figuring it would be easier to find) because I am soooo over doing craft projects.

It is one of those adventures in life that sounds really cool and glamorous, like smoking a cigarette after sex or bungee jumping, but when you actually start doing it you'd rather be stuck watching a bad Steven Segal movie... over and over again.

can anyone tell me what kind of board is best to use? I was thinking an etchasketch, but the one in this photo looks like some sort of whiteboard...if anyone has any ideas where to get it from it would be really helpful!! :)

I like the way the pictures are displayed. I may have to add whiteboards to my list. I love this idea!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
