You should just skim...there really is a lot of good information and as you skim through you will find all kinds if great information. Its really worth taking the time because all of us b2bs and past b2bs took a lot of time to compile the information. I will have 20 guests.
        Loving married life! <3

hey all! sorry I have been MIA, its literally a little over a month away and I haven't done anything wedding related last three weeks. Its Fiscal Year End at work so I have been swamped! I seriously should have planned a wedding date not so close to the busiest time at work!

Welcome back Samira! What do you have left to do?

English Guy - if you don't have time to read this thread the Riu website has some good info regarding the weddings. You may find what you're looking for there?

I believe the only way to have the DJ with a semi-private reception is to rent out the disco tech (the disco tech in Jamaica at the Riu I stayed at was kinda of run-down, cheesy, and musty). I am thinking I will only have around 35, so I am trying to figure out alternatives. People are going to be booking in the next month or so, so once I get a better count I might begin bugging Ael about this.
I was afraid this was the answer...if you could keep me updated on what you hear that would be great! Thanks!

Vlvetter-I was in the disco at Riu Tequila last year. It was kind of cheesey, but after a bunch of drinks we had fun and I'm sure your guests would too. The only thing is it is about a 15 min walk b/c it is directly across the street from Riu Palace Mexico.

Thanks ladies! So, do you have to pay extra to book the disco? Would other guests be allowed in?
