      I just finished sorting my pashminas into my gift bag piles. I went to pick up the tupperware tub thingy I stored them in and I swear it must weigh like 70 pounds. Thank God I've got an American Airlines platinum card and can check 9 total bags for our trip.

      Have you guys started working on makeup artists? I started researcing last night. I'm looking for someone who does airbrush. Have you guys found anyone?

      On a crappy note, I got my period today...early....with 31 days to go before the wedding. Also I have my next dress fitting on Saturday. Halloween---what the hell was I thinking Oh and a bird crapped on me on my way home tonight. I know about the alleged good luck, but in reality it is just another dry cleaning bill!!!!

      I finally got all of my quotes back from my new resort and can now say on a decor/fee/reception front we definitlely were getting hosed. But, I had to pay more for the rooms.

      Hope you ladies are doing well! Oh, and Chrissy...you are in for good luck...our football team is having its best season since I can remember...4 and 4. Go Hoosiers!!!

        Lindz - Will you send me your weekly eating plan I'd love to try it. I play sports and practice 2x a week and games once a week, then go to spinning 2x a week and lift weights 2x a week, but I think after living with my FI who loves really big portions, I have gotten out of control on the eating side! Thats what I need to work on.

        Ash - I didn't realize you had changed resorts too. And good thing you got all of your bad luck out of your system yesterday! Now you should have an awesome day today.

          Lindz - I too love food and LOVE healthy food, I do all the cooking so FI's gets what I cook and actually doesn't complain :)

          P90X just so you know is 6 days a week minimum, the 7th day is optional.

          Do any of you ladies count calories? I've been a hardcore calorie counter for 5 years now and used to keep a online food diary every day, I recently got rid of it because I do the calculations in my head now that I'm used to how many cals things are. That alone will help you lose weight even if you're eating pizza every day.

          I love your inspiration board Lindz! I want to do one but couldn't figure out how to do it!

          Katie - 12 hours a day? That's a very good reason, that's a long work day! I used to do 10 until the law came in and said 8 :)

          FI and I are obsessed with True Blood too! It was actually a last minute costume I came up with on Sunday, figured it would be easy and fun, I just need to practice my LA drawl now!

            hey girls )
            question for you all.... so my maid of honor and my future mother in law BOTH emailed me saying they are planning my wedding shower. They are both control freaks and crazy organized planners and will NOT work well with not being in charge. So what do i do now? Should I ask them to just have 2?

              thanks for all the welcomes. I wanted to read all of the posts first so I wasn't asking repeat questions, but it has taken quite a few days to get through all 346 pages! I switched my resort from Occidental Grand Xcaret...we were trying to keep it affordable for our guests, but it seemed no matter how low we could get prices, people kept complaining. So we decided the people who we care about the most said they will be there no matter what, so we decided to upgrade! :)

              kittenheart--love your costume idea! my fiance and I are going to a True Blood Halloween party this weekend, so we are both going as vampires.

                    Amy, No, I dont count calories daily. If I count calories, I obsess about food and how many calories "i have left". I try to eat the same thing every day for a week that I count over the weekend and plan for. But I have been traveling so much I cant keep up. Plus I drink a lot. Bermuda is a party island! We call it the bermuda 20, similar to the freshman 15! lol

                    I need to change all of that so I can look good for my wedding!

                      Yeah calorie counting is only for the control freaks/anal retentive people <----- totally referring to myself here, so please no one get offended!

                      If you are at least aware of the cal count in something it helps you make wise decisions, that was all I was saying.

                      If you can avoid sit down restaurants at all, that's a good start. Also, if you do go to a restaurant, asking them to bring a togo box with your meal (especially if it's big) helps portion control. Stick half the food in a togo box before you eat.

                      Also if you're going to eat carbs, eat wheat or grain carbs no matter what. Stick to lots of veggies if you can and lean meats, non sweet alcoholic drinks and no dessert or lowcal dessert if possible.

                      For P90X, the diet and regimen is very strict so I ended up using a protein shake as dessert. Almond milk, light milk chocolate or vanilla muscle milk powder with peanut butter tastes like the most decadent dessert (milkshake) or throw berries or a banana in there or yogurt. Also for dessert if I need something, a Think Think choc/peanut butter bar (sugar free) tastes like actual choc or my fav, sugar free jello pudding with fat free frozen cool whip and sliced strawberries. Yum!

                      Wow, I just ended up giving you dessert recipes, ok so I'm not a perfect dieter but I am REALLY good at finding loopholes
