@raqpena - beautiful pics!!  That's exactly how I want it to look for my wedding!  Where did you get the lanterns??

 

Any one having their ceremony on the sky deck?  What decor are you planning??

@prater0420 that's exciting! What day are you guys going down? I've been searching Amazon and found some pretty champagne and Ivory colors:

I figure with the Ivory I'll def have some left over material and am hoping that I'll have ENOUGH material with the champagne, but I think these two colors are really pretty and soft together! Everyone feel free to let me know what you think! I'm terrible at making decisions on my own, haha!

 

 

 

@ObeBride07 We are heading down on the 3rd. How about you? I love those colors I think I will do something similar. 

 

 

Anyone have their reception at Palapa Yoga on the beach? Trying to get the dimensions of this space!

HI! So excited I found this! I have been reading all day! so much information.. ya'll are so helpful. 

 

I was wondering if anyone had purchased the Ultimate Wedding Package? And how did you like it?

 

 We have selected to use it with the pure glamour decor and I know it will beautiful, but I was told specifically by Lucy on the phone that the cocktail and reception menu was included in the $8,000... now I am being charged extra for the food! I am already over my budget! Has anyone had trouble with this? I feel like they keep adding money every time I turn around! 

 

Please Help!

    Who is doing, has done or plan to do the catamaran with Lomas? if you are or did, was this after or prior to the wedding day???

      @Aliyedwinramirez Thank you so much!!! I am actually getting the complementary with Lomas after the rooms booked. I was wondering if there are any brides who got this catamaran promo also, I want to finalize my schedules with it, it is getting too confusing to me :( . I am thinking of whether doing it the day before or after the wedding. Thank you again  so much!!!

      Ohhhhh! Totally understandable. I don't have any insight with that promo unfortunately. However, we were toying with the idea of before or after the wedding too. We decided the day after the wedding for an afternoon departure because it would be relaxing for after all is said and done with the wedding festivities and wedding pressure for both us and the wedding party. Plus, we wouldn't have to worry about any sunburn before the wedding. ️ that's just our opinion though! Good luck @linaco80

      Hey Ladies-

      We have finally booked our wedding at Azul Sensatori - reading this blog has been an absolute savior! 

       

      But, I still have a few questions I'm hoping you brides/brides to be may be able to answer...

      1) Do we need to supply nails, tacks, cable ties, etc to hang fabric and other decor from the Gazebo at the sky wedding?

      2) For the Sky Wedding, do you have to request to have your Cocktail hour there after the ceremony or is that included /is there an additional cost?

      3) Anyone who has had their reception in the ballroom - did you decorate the ceiling with some type of fabric?  If so, did you get it from the hotel/lomas?  What was the cost?

      4) Has anyone had 'uplighting'?  If so, is there a cost guide for it anyone can share?

      Just jumping in. We had 3 guests do excursions the day after our wedding and all 3 regretted it. They were super hungover and being on a Catamaran sucked for them lol. But you know your guests. Mine were drinkers :) just a thought.

      But your sunburn reasoning was a good one!

      Thanks in advance!

      1. You only need to supply the fabric and other decor. The hotel will do the rest. I purchased the large bouquets for the gazebo.

      2. We had a champagne toast on the Sky Deck but could not have the Cocktail hour there because they do not have a way to bring food up there. We had our cocktail hour on Zocalo Terrace.

      3. We had our reception in the ballroom and brought Christmas lights and lighted paper lanterns for the ceiling. The cost for all of the sent up including ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was $250 cash. They do not accept credit cards or checks for the set up fee since they use the cash to pay the workers directly.

      4. Not sure I understand what up lighting is but it the hotel has to provide it, they will likely charge for it.
