So I was called in today to talk about where I am at with my back and all, they asked if I had any questions so I asked about my time in November for my wedding. They said they were waiting to see what happens with my back to decide. WTF!!!!!! and no I didnt start going nuts because I am very fragile emotionally today and all I would've done was cried like an idiot (as I did the minute I left their office).

What twats - have you not got an HR you can go to because that is discrimination - your health is nothing to do with your leave

What does your back have to do with it? So are you not supposed to take any more time off for your back so you can take off for your wedding, is that what they're getting at? I don't get it.

steph, dont they realize you are going to take unpaid leave for your wedding whether they like it or not

you are being discriminated against - you should talk to your HR dept.

I can't believe they are doing this to you. Your health has nothing to do with time off months from now. I'd escalate it.
