I LOVE me some banana bread and found this recipe and made it today - YUMMY!! Just thought I would share! Next time I think I will make them into muffins!

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup white sugar

1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 egg whites

1 cup banana, mashed

1/4 cup applesauce

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Add egg whites, bananas and applesauce; stir just until combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean. Turn out onto wire rack and allow to cool before slicing.

Thanks for the tips. I wanted to make it, but would have liked to have not used the white flour. I didn't even realize they meade whole wheat flour. So I'm going to make this next week (doing the sacred heart diet right now). Can you buy the whole wheat flour at any store?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
