Anyways our travel agent worked for about 4 days with westjet and finally got the first group booked. But we also have calgary bookings to still do and I am not sure how seamless that will go. There has to be enough rooms as it is still far enough in advance. We had actually phoned down to the resort when we had this booking issue and they were only at 40% capacity so there must be some miscommunication between the resort and the travel companies. I hope that everything works out for both of us.
    Talk to you soon

    Hi Jenny,
When did you book these rooms? I'm so upset as my travel tried for the past week and she can't get anymore. I have no clue what I'm going to do I can't beleive they told you that they were only at 40% capacity....I don't understand. The only option now is booking them at the other resorts like the Tropical. I just don't how much it would cost for a day pass each day or maybe take the chance of them coming over to the Palace and hanging out with us. What is your plan to book more rooms?

    Sabrina

Anything like colored cala lilies are extra charge (they said the white ones are not though). Just send them a picture of what you want and see if they can do it.
Thank you bethbride!! I'm freaking out already!

      Hey Ladies!!!

Just to let you know... I was able to bring my bouquet home with me all the way to NJ! I did not think I would be allowed to... but I took a chance. The only people who gave me a little bit of trouble (not even) was customs in Newark Airport. I simply asked them to allow me though... that I just got married and I could not bare to see my bouquet go in the trash! it's worth a shot! I have mine sitting in my den in a vase... all dried out! Looks beautiful :)

Thanks! I will try this myself. Only problem is we are going to US Virgin Island the week after the wedding, so with transfers that is 4 other airports we have to get through. YIKES!

I had a question for you...did they charge you extra for the rose bouquets? I do want real flowers for me and BM. My mom is making starfish bouts for the guys. What did you do for moms and gmoms?? Wonder how much extra it is for their flowers?

Still no word on menus. Is it THAT hard to get this together? If I had an early '10 wedding I would be fuming right now! What about people trying to make menu cards? Geesh.
