        Hi!

I am not sure exactly how I will be incorporating this but I will definitely be doing it.  Here's some info on it.  I have about 50 guests coming.

Thanks! Here's the info on it.  Not too much out there but we can play around with it. I'll probably have some info printed on the program.

              KOREAN WINE CEREMONY?

My FI is Korean, born in Seoul, lived there until he was adopted at age 4 by American parents.  He has absolutely no Korean knowledge whatsoever, but I thought it would be nice to incorporate some of his native culture into our ceremony.  Koreans have a lot of neat traditions, and I have googled everything about it and I think we are going to incorporate their wine ceremony, which appears to be like the unity candle/sand ceremony idea and what they do to seal their vows.  But I am struggling to find appropriate wording for what to say during the wine ceremony (we each have a glass, take a sip, then pour them together and take another sip).   I told my FI to figure out the actual words from Korea, and we will see what he comes up with, BUT in the "rare" event he does not spend his every spare moment planning this wedding (HA!), any ideas/suggestions from you ladies? Thanks in advance!

that's very sweet of you to consider.  i have a few korean friends and a korean cousin-in-law. I remember during my cousin's wedding the groom carried the bride on his back- a symbolic gesture. But that's all I remember.  But I'll ask around. Have you tried Youtube? They have everything!!!

I'm almost finished writing our wedding ceremony, but its the order of some of the events that has me puzzled.  Right now we're doing (copied directly from my program):

                    Prelude

                    Processional

                    Opening greetings

                    Hand ceremony

                    Marriage Vows

                    Exchange of the rings

                    Sand Ceremony

                    Pronouncement of Marriage

                    Signing of the Registry

                    Recessional

What I'm wondering about is when the signing of the marriage registry fits in?  Should we take a few moments to sign the registry, then come back for the sand ceremony and closing/pronouncement of marriage, or is it traditionally done at the end?  If we do it earlier, we haven't officially been pronounced husband and wife.  But if we wait until the very end, I get the feeling people might be distracted...then all of a sudden we're walking down the aisle again!    Any thoughts?
