I'm sorry things didn't go the way you had wanted but you handled it very well, truly a beautiful bride. Your pictures are beautiful.

You shouldn't feel down for giving an honest review, its what people want to know. I congratulate you on your calm tho. I think I could handle all the mistakes except the minister!! FI would have flipped his lid and I'd have stopped it lol

So well done you, and the photos are lovely

You look beautiful and had some great pics!

Did you find you were hot during your ceremony? Your dress seems poofy like mine is gonna be ..just curious if you had trouble with temp.

I am so sorry that you had a not-so-great experience, but you handled it amazingly well. I don't know if I could have been that laid back. You looked absolutely beautiful. Congrats!!!!!!!!

Thanks! I don't know if it was cause I was in my own little world or what but I found that our wedding day weather wasn't as warm as other days. I wasn't too hot at all and normally I'm the first to find it hot. I think the fact that it's strapless keeps your top half cool and I just lifted up the skirt a bit if my lets got warm at all. There's a real nice breeze on the beach too! I wore my dress all day too, my mom insisted I pack something to change into but for the price I paid for my dress there was no way I was changing out of it! I'm thinking of wearing it to work once in a while too, just for funsies!

First ...I want to say that I admire your attitude and it really shows that you are not only beautiful on the outside but inside as well...don't think I would have handled as well as you did.

As far as ROR is concerned, I am wondering if they bit more than they can chew, looks to me the wedding coordinators are over worked....I am not defending Chandlyn's actions by any means, it was wrong of her to spend time on a rehearsal and not assist you on your actual wedding, but it must be hard to have so many weddings daily.

I think you did the right thing by posting the facts, I am sure it will help future brides. Does anyone know how many coordinators the resort has and how many weddings do they have daily? do they have a limit? because this should not have happened and should be aware of it before it is too late.

I am so sorry that you ran into so many issues. Your pictures are amazing and I love you flowers! I think the RIU is taking on a bit too much, they need a couple coordinators I think.

    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
