Hey Marie, I need to know if the MP needs the documents issued within a certain date range. When my fiance called the IL dept (and I'm from MA), they told him that certain countries/resorts would only take them if they were issued within a certain date range before the event. Of course, he didn't know that information for Mexico. Our date is about 7 months out, and we'd like to get it taken care of, to head off any problems. We just don't know if we do it this early, if it will be too early for Mexico.

I also am looking for updated rates for reception charges, and I really want the Tucan gazebo. *sad days*

I also wanted to make SURE that we could bring an outside photographer, and wanted to see if we could use just a day pass or if we had to pay for them to stay. But, that doesn't matter now - we've decided to go with the hotel photography and videography for the time there, and to use an outside super awesome photog for a trash the dress during our honeymoon.

Thanks for being so nice and offering to see if you knew the answers to my questions!! I really appreciate that!

Hi girls! I have been MIA for awhile but since April 20 is now practically here, I need to start thinking wedding planning again!

Welcome to all the new brides-to-be!

Question: I understand we cant ship anything to the Moon Palace. Does anyone know of a post office type place or anywhere close to the MP we can ship things - like our favors and welcome basket items - to? I really don't feel like checking so much extra luggage.

Thanks!

I'm an April 2009 bride too so been getting a little nervous about the luggage situation. If you have an outside photographer in Mexico, maybe you can have stuff shipped over to them and have them bring it to the resorthuh.gif? Other than that I have not come up with good ideas....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
