AHHHHHHHHH....I just checked the weather forecast for PV and it is supposed to rain on the day I get married. I chose that time so that it wouldn't rain, but now it just might. I keep telling myself that weathermen are always wrong and it won't rain, but the last two days they have increased the chance to over 60%, when a couple of days ago it was only 10%. Its supposed to rain the entire time we are there.

I know that Las Caletas has a backup plan if it rains, but I don't want that plan, I was to get married on the beach in the sun, not in the rain under a ramada.

Sorry guys, just venting, can't do it to FI b/c he just keeps telling me to think positive. I know I'm supposed to do that, but grr.....not the way its supposed to go.

I'm sorry. Weather.com made me almost have a breakdown a few days before the wedding. It said it was supposed to rain and we totally didn't have a backup plan at all.

Good news is, it rained for 10 minutes in the morning and was perfect for my wedding. I didn't share your location, but keep the faith!! Those weather reports aren't always right!

Don't worry, I am sure it will just be a light sprinkle. It will work out just fine.

We had the same thing happen.. stupid online weather sites! There was a hurricane close by just the week before.. guess what? Sunny and 90 every day there! Try not to stress about something you can't control..

I bet it will only be in the morning. IF it does rain, i'm sure it will be a light sprinkle and it will still be hot. Try not to freak out! I bet the weather man is wrong.

What website were you looking at? The exact same thing happened to me too on weather.com - it actually said it was going to rain 4 out of the 7 days we were there and guess what. It NEVER rained!! So don't worry about it too much b/c they can be wrong!

Yeah, I don't believe the weather.com or if it is any bit of a chance of rain that day they say rain. I remember before we went to Punta Cana I checked the weather and it showed rain for every day. It only rained one day of our week trip and it was for 10 min. Don't worry about it :)

I always check weather.com before i go away and everytime i've been to Mexico (3 times) and Jamaica, it was wrong. If it did rain when i was there, it would be 10 minutes and than clear up. I'm sure that's all it will be, a little sprinkle and than clear right up.

i think there is something inherently wrong with weather.com's forecasting process. They are consistently wrong, so I would not take their forecast as the end-all be-all. Is the rain in PV an all day sort of rain or do they have passing storms that dissipate quickly? Maybe you could lob a call/email to someone at LC as they would have a better idea of the weather there. Good luck, thought I am sure that everything will work out perfect

Don't stress about the weather... as everyone said, weather.com can be wrong. If it rains, I'm sure it will be for 10 minutes.
