I bought the heart shaped sand ceremony kit from Angelic weddings.com  with one extra vase as there are 4 in our family. Me and Joe and our 2 children. One of the vases did have a slight crack but otherwise transported in the box all the way from U.K pretty well and I could not tell on the pics one of the vases had a slight crack. I left it wrapped up in the box and wrapped beach towels all the way around it and put it in suitcase marked "FRAGILE"  To transport back, unfortunately our flower girl had got hold of it and poured ithe sand on her dress, so the sand got a bit mixed up. It was just a little blip bt to transport home we stuffed the top with tissue and wrapped in a carrier bag in the "fragile" suitcase and it was fine, upon arriving home :)))

We did not get our documents translated before we went, it does feel strange that we are married and we have to wait to change name, without our certificate.

Any more question's and I'm here xxx

Does anyone know the price of the coco bongo tickets bought through the hotel? Just been on the coco bongo website and it says it is $50 per person. Just wondered whether we are better off getting them direct or through the hotel with the transport.

Per a review on Trip Advisor... it is $80 for a van round trip and admission... however she said she talked them down to $60 per person because there was four of them.  BUT... that was 2009.  But I'd expect a price similar to that.

Hi,

I am from UK and have booked with Thomas Cook and they tell me I need docs translating but my WC at the hotel has said this is not required. I have asked many UK brides on here and they back this up and have also checked the net and I think the confusion comes because the requirements are different depending on the state where the ceremony is taking place. Neither of us have been married before, changed our names or are adopted though. I think the requirements are different if you have done any of these things as you have. I do not know the exact requirements but I am sure your WC should be able to give you the correct info.

I didn't bring any place cards with me, I also didn't make a seating plan either. When we met with Jazmin she gave me 3 different coloured highlights, I used each colour as a table (only 3 tables) to tell her who should sit at each table.  She then made up on big card for the center of each table with the names of people for that table.  They were cute, all done in pink (our wedding colour) with a pictures of a bride and groom.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
