Sorry to hear that, especially since he didn't even talk to you first! I hope that other than the commute part, everything else will be for the better.. Let us know how the new job is working out for you when you get situated.

So we had our staff meeting today to let the rest of the office know.

One person I think had figured it out because her and my boss's partner are buddies.

Another had no reaction, I think he was just taking it all in and would react later.

My direct co-worker, who I can't stand for a variety of reasons, said "oh, how exciting, I'm so happy, that's great".

I was so miserable because of her. I still don't understand how she got that job. She's still asking questions about things she should have known months ago, she mutters to herself all day long, she's got no social skills because she gets all flustered when someone asks her anything (not good in our office b/c all kinds of impt people come through).

I guess I'm being moved because my nose is not brown. And I like to keep it that way.

And I found out in the meeting that I'm being replaced!!! I thought they might move me b/c I said there's only enough work for one person out front, and thought maybe the budget was tight. Not that tight I guess. censored.gif

Grrr. My FI is taking me out to get my mind off all this. And to get inspired to update my resume.

So this situation is making me feel more aprehensive and paranoid by the day.

Today I asked my boss for a job description of this new position they're moving me to. He said he'd get me one by the end of the day today.

So about 4pm he comes to me and says I have to send him an updated copy of my resume for him to email to this new dept, which will then be sent to another dept that keeps everyone's resume on file.

I'm hightailing it outta there my first chance. This just doesn't feel right to me. sad.gif

I totally agree! That is very odd. I knew something was up at my old job when they put in new software and told the guy to not give me the password to my computer--WTF do I look dumb? Do you think I wouldn't catch on to that little detail? Turns out they decided to outsource my job and I was getting my hours cut and shoved in a new area at work.
Hope you can find soemthing new and not feel so rocky.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
