Well girls i've had enough lol

Just had a big battle with FI about the wedding, I was sitting doing my Family Law assignment and I suddenly realised. I am doing all the organising and making 99% of the decisions on this wedding and its not even what I want lol

When we first decided to get married I said I would only do it if we went away because I'd already been warned by his sister not to let the FMIL anywhere near any arrangements and he himself had had major problems with her before the last time he was going to get married. So he agreed but he would only do it in Mexico or Bali (my dad lives in Bali) so I said fair enough I'd like to go to Bali and be with my dad. We happened to briefly mention it to his mother and she started to make plans and was saying she was going over for a month!!! I said oh you bloody aren't and if you are stay away from my dad (he'd kill her husband they are awful lol)

So I said look I want to keep the relationship with dad so its Mexico, since then its all been him. He wants to invite people (I am way out numbered and at this point I'll have no family or friends with me (they can't afford it)) so i'll be stuck with people I don't know and a lot i dont like!!

The HE decided he wanted a reception. All I asked for was a black ribbon on the cake all hell broke lose lol

Now its the photographer, he wants staged photos with his family I told him crack on I won't be in them and they are certainly not going in an album. My dad has said he will give us some cash towards the wedding but I've said no thanks, he hasn't got a lot to start with, so its left to me to find the cash and save it and all he is bothered about IS his frigging PS2, Xbox 360 and getting a present for his mother!!

SO i've told him i've had enough i'm on strike and if he wants anything extra he can find the cash himself lol

Ahh vent over, I don't think i'm being unreasonable but i'm so angry not sure lmao Good job he's not hear think i've have brayed him lol

Why is it you that has to come up with the money for everything HE wants. Put a damn black ribbon on the cake! Who is going to stop you?! If he gets everything he wants then you get the ribbon!! OK I am done lol

You shouldn't have to come up with all of the money yourself. You'll have to make it clear it's 50-50. I'm sorry you're going through this... there's always drama along the way. Good Luck! :)

You better be careful letting him spend!! You might get an account that is negitive if he is anything like my unorganized FH...lol He spends and worries later. Mine was bragging last night that he has not had to do a damn thing except go with me when I decided what he was gonna wear...lol He said he was just gonna show up and put the ring on my finger...:-)

I am sorry you are going through so much, take a break from all the planning (you have plenty of time) and it will work out.
                Christine + Will (married 7/20/07) + Ainsleigh (born 6/25/08) + Nolan (born 11/9/10) + Delaney (born 12/31/13) = One Very Happy Family!

that sounds like a lot of drama - you and your FI need to each make a list of 'needs and wants' for your wedding and then compare them and start negotiating until you are on the same page.

OFF TOPIC: is that your Tottie? OMG - he/she is SO CUTE i want to kiss my PC screen!
