Post your OOT Bag Photos!

Recommended Posts

I struggled with this as well, I found a great deal on the bags, and since I needed about 20, I didn't want to spend a fortune!

I am doing one per couple or per room and I am filling them with:

personalized door hanger

palm fan

bride/groom rubber duckies

flip flop keychain

personalized wedding can koozie

tropical gummies

skinitmate shave gel

dried fruit and fruit snacks

flip flop playing cards

sunblock

q-tips travel case

bodywash

toothpaste/toothnrush (travel)

tylenol/advil/pepto bismol

hand sanitizer

chapstick with spf

off wipes

rolaids

pocket tissues

travel first aid kits

bride/groom frisbees

I hope our guests will love them! Post more pics later

Did I forget anything?

Gosh. I wasn't going to do OOT bags, because they seemed like such an effort. But looking at all of these, I feel like I should do something. Are they a huge time drain? How much time between the shopping, assembly and delivery did you spend? (We are having 75 guests.)

I have just been picking up little things as I go. 75 guests are a lot, I don't have that many, so I chose just to spend a little more in what I put in each bag. I did get a lot from Oriental Trading Co.

75 guests, but how many rooms? I plan on doing one per room... so that's roughly around 35 rooms for you? That's not that bad. And an OOT bag doesn't have to have everything like Shelley's. It could be as simple as a timeline and snacks.

And Shelley... I LOVE YOUR NEW SIGGY!

    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
