This was the first example through google search, but you get the idea!

That would be a cute idea... Even make a baby blanket out of it..

I like this idea, altho I don't think my dress would really work for it, with all the pickups. Who knew we should have thought of this, too, when we were shopping!

i think that lizzy's idea was cute... make your kids christing outfits out of your wedding dress. that is if you are catholic.

if not, donate it! why not? so many people out there in need...no use in taking up space

My wedding dress is probably smashed into some random box in our storage unit. It was hanging in the garage last I saw it...and then we moved to WA.

I plan to keep mine & throw it on when the mood strikes a'la Paula.

I would like to sell mine when I am done, that is what made me spend double my budget, but seeing as how everyone had a hard time doing that, I don't know what I will do. Perhaps keep it for our childrens christening clothes...

i really like those charities that take donated dresses for those who cant afford ones. i know they go to bridal shows a lot for under privelaged girls for their prom dresses..

donating is nice i think. besides you wont ever wear it again and your daughter will never wear it. ive never seen a bride who wore her mothers.. ive seen them wear a lot of their mothers veils and things like that nature..

                  i say donate :)

This is embarrassing, but a year later it's still hanging in a bag in my closet filthy. One of these days I will have it cleaned. I'm still sort of attached to it so I am unsure if I will donate it or not.
