Riviera Maya TTD Veteran Brides!

Recommended Posts

I posted this in the other forum, but think it may need to be here instead. Mods, please feel free to move.

For those of you who did a trash the dress shoot, who was your photographer? Did you have the same photographer for both the wedding, and your ttd session?

As always, pics are appreciated. I'm having Claudia Rodriguez photograph our wedding, but still trying to figure out what to do about a ttd. Location as well as photography. So please share your location for the shoots as well. Not to mention, if you had a seperate photog for the ttd pics, what was the price like?

We had a different photographer. We originally wanted him to do our wedding pics too but he wasn't available for that date. We had him for close to 2 hours and he took over 500+ pics and we paid 500 dollars. it was soooo worth it and we have great pics. These our our favorite, better than wedding pics :)

We just returned from Dreams Tulum and did 2 TTD sessions lol. Aaron and I had his step-sister who is an aspring photographer do our session the morning after the wedding. We just went along the beach near the resort and then took some pics in the pool. Later that day we mentioned to our friends and family what we did and our entire wedding party asked if we could do a shoot with all of us. We all met the evening of the day before we left at 6pm and all "took the plunge" in the pool. It was great because there were still quite a few people around the pool and others waiting for a table at the Seaside Grill and the looks on their faces were priceless!!!

As soon as I get the pics from Cara (DH's step-sister), I will post them :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
