Is it OK to put Maxim magazines in the OOT bags for the guys?

I planned to put OK magazines in the OOT bags for the ladies. We also have a subscription to Maxim. Will wives/ girlfriends be mad if we give their men Maxim? It is full of barely dressed ladies, but I could care less if Mike reads it. The subscription is actually in my name. But, I'm not sure how other women feel.

 

Would you be upset if someone gave your guy a Maxim?

I know some girls that flip if their guys look at maxim. But for me it wouldn't bother me at all. Maybe just put them in the bags you know the girls won't flip? Or maybe just the single guys?

No way, I think the guys would love it.... and who cares of the wives get mad they obviously have more issues that just that!

I love Maxium... but you know your guests best. If in doubt, I wouldn't. Matt brought a magazine for "bathroom time" but there's plenty of stuff to read in the room and most guys I know wouldn't bring any magazines to the pool.

We won't have any single guys there.

I know one of Mike's sisters wouldn't care. She bought Mike a maxim subscription a few years ago. But, her husband isn't coming.

It's so hard to predict who would care. So maybe it's just safer not to put them in the bags. I know lots of guys who read OK, so maybe they can just enjoy those.

I thought I'd just ran it past you ladies, because I wasn't sure if other women cared. Sounds like some do. It's not worth potentially offending someone.

To me it's just like cosmo for guys. I guess it is different because it has ladies in their underware.

I'd go with Maxim because we alrady have them. Cheapy McCheaperton only wants to give them magazines we already have. I pay like $2 a year for my subscriptions, so I can't see paying news stand prices.

I also get Money & Kiplingers. I know a few of the guys going who would enjoy these, so I might put them in.

Mike used to read Men's Health & I felt like it gave him a negative body image. I got him to switch to Maxim. I felt like it was better for him to look at airbrushed women than airbrushed men He can be really hard on himself.
