Any other cruise brides out there?

We're going on the Carnival Glory Feb 13-20 2011. Getting married on Limetree Beach in St. Thomas with Perfect Weddings of St. Thomas! Less then 4 months away!

We're super excited about our cruise wedding...less than 9 months away now.  Our group (45 strong) is cruising on the Disney Dream from May 17th to 20th, 2012.  The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach at Castaway Cay (Disney's private island) the morning of May 19th.

That sounds beautiful.... I will be renewing vows July of 2013 (5th anniversary). I'm still deciding on what ship but so far it sounds like its going to be Carnival. But that sounds awesome as well.

I'm very excited! All of bridesmaids made their deposits. Now we are waiting for the groomsmen:cool:

Not at all.  I am actually just starting to panic!  LOL  Unfortunately, FI's grandmother has been very ill the last month and a half and we have been taking care of her on shifts, round the clock, between us, FI's mother and sister.  She passed away this week and we are preoccupied with this whole situation.  Not that I am complaining, but me being a bride has taken back seat completely. 

 

Now that I have so little time, I am in panic mode, because I don't even know what I am supposed to be finishing at this point!  Crazy, I know.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Your and your family are in my prayers.

 

I had a similar situation. My mother got really sick when we started to plan in May and that put planning on the back burner and a state side wedding out of the budget. She started getting better in July and demanded that I focused on the wedding.

 

Do you have a MOH or bride maids who can help with your "to-do" list?

That sounds amazing! Congratulations Cruises are so amazing in and of themselves so adding your wedding to it on a private island...WOW!
