Here is a good idea for a cabo rehearsal dinner or just a DW activity, it`s a luxurious 144`triple deck catamaran called Cabo Rey, it will take you to the arch, lover beach where the sea of cortez and the pacific ocean become one.

Offering 3 different types of trips:

Dinner Cruise with great entertainment from an Argentine Tango show or Gauchos Tap malambo while enjoying a great dinner. Dinner options:

-Steamed Shrimp in white wine souce

-Steam Lobster with caborey cream souce

-Sea bass filet in white sauce

-Chateabriand

-Margaritas, piñas coladas, beer, soda, bottled water

Daytime snorkeling and whalewathing Cruise

Spend time snorkeling or just lying on Chileno Bay beach includes:

-Lunch Buffet

Green mixed salad, beef and chiken fajitas, refried beans, rice and fresh fruit.

-Margaritas, piña colada, beer, soda adn bottled water.

It`s the same price per person, deppending on the cruise option you choose you can make your own reservation through thier web site at

For you ladies interested in the boat cruise Tasha did a bunch of research a few months ago too. We were thinking about it for our rehearsal dinner but then my parents wanted top stay on land but I think it's a really cool idea!

Here was the original thread for you ladies interested in researching this option: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t903

I had a quote from Sunrider for $2900 including tax/service for 60 peeps. This was for either a daytime lunch/snorkel cruise or a dinner sunset cruise. However I cannot speak for the quality as I have never actually worked with them.

Tasha is working with them and it sounds like they're been very responsive.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
