Kinko's was charging me $5xx, I think it was close to $600. And it was to print it and the paper. But they told me they wouldn't print on paper that I brought in, even though I have heard of others bringing their own. There is a girl on here who brought in her own paper, but they charged her the same amount. I was having 300 pages printed, one sided, in color. Hope that helps!

Carly- totally understand where you are coming from because I hate complaining to people in general. I jsut end up b*tching about it to FI.

Even though it wasn't the typical price- you still paid for a product. If you really don't like it, I would mention it. I would just explain that you hate to complain and seem ungrateful but this wasn't what you ordered.

But I also agree with Maura. No one notices the subtle differences but you. Unfortunately after all the hard work, invitations quickly go into the garbage. *jerks*

I think it helps if you convert the color from RGB to CMYK.

I probably woulnd't have them reprint them. I'd hate to use up all that paper again. I tend to try to minimize how much paper I use. But, I understand when you've worked so hard on this you want it right.

I didn't care much about my invites. But, once I got going on them I became a little OCD. I had a scrap of cardstock I carried around to several office stores looking for matching envelopes. I finally found a color that matched. I looked up the color name online & found envelopes. I should have just bought my cardstock at the same time as my envelopes. After all this drama, mike saw the color and told me he has tons of stuff in that color at work & knew where I could have found it.

Completely agree! We had major printing problems until we converted our colors. In RGB, the colors were different depending on what printer we used...

We have a laser color copier here at work and I printed a sample of my STD boarding passes and my color font is teal and it prints out in a dark blue. I am printing from the template in word - how do I convert it when I am ready to get color better? I have photoshop at home and powerpoint here at work......would these programs suffice?? I saved it as a jpg and it came out TERRIBLE LOL dizzy.gif

It always happens! I'm still trying to understand my printer, some colors will not show up as you see them on screen and some will.. I changed the color settings in my laser printer and picked a setting called "vivid" and now the color is closer to what I see on screen, but I can't get to match some blues.. specially lighter blues.. I don't know why!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
