I confess that it's weird seeing my new siggy pic...I've had the same one since I joined in September!! I really like my new one though! :)

Oh...and I also confess that it's weird to think of myself as married! It's like it's not real! For all you other brides...when did it feel real??

Oh reallyhuh.gif Funny how we change our minds when the right person comes into our lives! I was always the one that said I wasn't having kids - and since DH (it's hard not to still write FI!) came into my life I want nothing more than to have his baby (but not for a few more years yet!)

For now DH says he just wants to "practice"!!! He's too funny!!
Practice does make perfect wink.gif I do recommend from my experience that about three or four months before you decide you want to start, Start charting. Sign up for Ovulation Calendar and Ovulation Chart - FertilityFriend.com or some other charting site and chart your temps and cycles. I wish I would have started this way before we started TTC. It tells you so much about when you are fertile etc. Some people choose to just do it naturally and whatever happens happens but apparently I am not lucky enough to be one of those people lol.

Yeah, I'm glad I found this! I can't complain to my husband, how weird to say that. So our wedding day was fantastic and the reception was great. Our ceremony was just distracting and akward. First, I arrive at the alter to find my new brother in law, who was a groomsmen, holding up a small video camara. So all I see behind my soon to be husband is a video camera! WTF. Who finds this to be appropriate? Apparently my new father in law asked him too!!! Next akwardness. We had to have legal witnesses to get married. They had to be in Mexico by a certain date. none of his relatives were there in time. Therefore, my mother, aunt, sister and brother in law signed. My new mother in law thought it was appropriate to ask my husband what it was about and why they weren't witnesses during the ceremony. he physically walked away from me, hello we're getting married, to explain to his mother who then 'whispered' to her friend across the ailse (new brother in law's mom w/video camera) to explain. I tried the death glare, didn't work. I just wanted to shout shut the f*** up, we're getting married. Enough on that topic. We did a legal ceremony and were completely fine with the lack of traditional vows. We were stressed at the idea of picking readings and writing vows. So the ceremony was in spanish with an interpreter. I could not understand what she was saying at all. But that part was more funny than anything. I guess we didn't have that mushy, tearful ceremony. I'm sure no one will forget it though! I think we'll have to renew the vows with one's we write ourselves, lesson learned!

I have to confess that I am feeling totally BRATTY! I am a little bothered that all of my girl friends are preggers, just had a baby or are single. Either way no one is interested in my minor wedding victories like booking my flights, DJ, and photg this week .

At least I am so gald to have this forum to tell everyone and get such positive feed back. And of course all of these lovely ladies to understand my "small victories"

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
