Mwise,

I'm having my girls wear wrap dresses from an ETSY seller  (http://www.etsy.com/shop/CoralieBeatrix). We haven't had our wedding yet but I have seen all my girls try on their dresses. They can be difficult to do on your own, but we are all getting ready together so we'll have plenty of hands! This seller was super nice, reasonable and accommodating. She says her dresses are basically one size fits all but I have 3 bridesmaids that are petite, so they sent their measurments in and she made the dresses to their size for no charge. The girls were able to order a bandeau top in the matching fabric for extra support/more coverage. So girls are going sans bra and you can't tell, while others got a backless strapless bra (VS sells some). There are like a zillion sellers on ETSY, but I'm partial to the one I used. A word of advice would be to do what I did. I went and ordered a bunch of swatches from various sellers on ETSY and picked the one I liked the best color and texture wise in person, and I am VERY happy!

I can't find a pic of it but here is one off her website. We got the pistaschio green dress.

BusyBee,

I like the short dress better.  I think it is more appropriate for a destination and looks fun and flirty.  I also really like the color and style of that dress.  Where is it from?  I'm still trying to decide what my BM's will wear.

I still love the other dress, but I'm wondering if a long dress will be more elegant.  Then again, perhaps a short dress is more appropriate for the beach!  I would be ordering the dresses in coral, irregardless of which one I pick.  To make things more difficult, they're only $10 different in terms of price! Help! Please let me know what you think!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
