    Hey Ladies,

Just an fyi. If you haven't booked with DJ Mannia, apparently they are now new vendors for Dreams. So you can book this DJ directly with your WC.

    Thanks!

      Ska (and other brides-to-be),

DJ Mannia is amazing.  All of our guests were dancing or walking to/from the bar to get a fill-up and coming right back to the dance floor.  I would definitely ask the WC if DJ Mannia is for 3 or 4 hours.  The 4 hrs for our reception was $850 whereas the previous Dreams vendor DJ was $800 -- so kind of a steal getting an extra hour for only $50!  Just keep in mind that if you extend your reception it is $10 per person but we didn't really mind paying for the extra hour.  It was small beans in comparison to the entire wedding cost.

Hi everyone! My name is Debbie and I am getting Married at Dreams on January 28th! I just found this forum...wish I would have found it earlier!!!! all of you guys are amazing. i love seeing all the photos and videos. Its been alot of help.

Anyways...I need to help with choosing our meal. We have the gold menu and can also choose from the Silver. Can you guys give me some reviews on the food. We were thinking either the beef medalions with shrimp from the gold menu or beef tenderlion- silver or chicken cordon bleu. anyone had any of these???

OMG lilboltz, I'm actually quite surprised to ehar fo this extra $10 per person per hour cost for the extra reception hour....That'll be an extra $600 for us to just have the terrace for an additional hour.... Hmmmm..... I wonder if Deyanira will mention this cost in advance or will i not hear of it until the day of. Thanks for the heads up, I guess I need to factor that cost into our total.

I so hate how you can't negotiate anything here and how they nickel and dime you for everything. Oh well, i guess it's all worth it in the end!

Has any of you who have been to DPC gone to the shopping plaza (Plaza Uvero Alto) down the street? Does the resort provide rides there?

I felt the same, so I asked Sharron when she was there and she told me we could do a bank transfer. We had no problems with that and DPC got it, it did take them awhile to tell us they did receive it, but atleast we have a copy of our transfer that we can bring to prove we paid the deposit.
