Cancun Nightlife - Any recommendations?

Recommended Posts

We're staying at Dreams Cancun. Most of our guests are between 25 and 40 and will want to make regular trips to the local nightclubs. What have you guys heard about the clubs in Cancun? What are the most popular, crowded, fun, etc.? How early do people go out in Cancun? We'd like to include as much info as we can in our guest's welcome letter. Thanks!

I have only been to senoir frogs. I remember it being a lot of fun, but really crowded. I also don't know if a 25-40 year old crowd would enjoy it. I was 17. We took a cab there one night & a bus the next. The bus was much more fun. There was a guy playing guitar on the bus & we all sang along.

I stayed at Dreams with 4 other couples in their late 20's early 30's. Since Dreams is at the end or beginning of the strip, you can walk and see which one you like. I believe Azul ? is next door or close by which was descent.

When you go in a large crowd bargain with the doorman for no covercharge just tell them you'll def. spend $$ on drinks. We weren't into the senor frog. I'm sorry but I can't remember the names of the club.

There was one a few blocks from Dreams that was 2 story and had lounge chairs upstairs so we didn't feel suffocated from the crowd downstairs. Sorry if I was no help. Good luck.

Ive been to Cancun a few times... and there is pleeeeeenty to do there at night. especially if your crowd likes the nightlife scene. All the clubs are easy to get to, either a quick bus ride or cab... heres a website with some good recommendations

Cancun Nightlife, Bars, Nightclubs, Dinner Cruises, Clubs Cancun

some of my favorites were : The City (Very nice nightclub), G Spot, Coco Bongo (tons of fun), Dady O/Dady Rock, La Boom, and Senior Frogs.

You'll definetley never be bored here.. Its a lot of fun to go out with friends!

Hope this helps

Most of the clubs are within walking distance of the hotel!! I personally recommend Coco Bongo. That place is like none other!! It costs around $30 to get in and that includes drinks all night!! Can't get better than that!! Just ask the concierge at the hotel for the coupon. Also at Dreams the entertainment directors plan a night out where you bar hop and it is around $60 for everything.

Cancun = Nightlife! I was there for New Years Eve and have been a few other times as well. You're hotel is in a great location! You're close to several clubs. I like Coco Bongo (great shows, lots of fun) Daddy O and Daddy Rock (sp?). Senior Frogs seems to always be a hit with all age groups.

Note: Shopping is just a quick cab ride away (maybe $8 USD).

Wow, thanks. I've included your suggestions in our wedding update letter. What kind of shopping is there? Are there cheap local places to find OOT gift bag contents?

There's the Party Hopper Tour for $65 per person. It includes entrance fees/cover charges, open domestic bar plus express entrance pass. The bars they go to are Congo Bar, Dady Rock, Senor Frogs, & Coco Bongo.

This is great 'cause those lines at the clubs could get very long esp. Coco Bongo. The convenience is worth it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
