I will try to give as many details as possible but if anyone has any questions feel free to message me!
So first of all I can not believe im actually writing this review! It seems like yesterday i joined this forum and was on here every single day reading everyones posts and reviews and trying to plan my wedding. Now, it came and gone and i wish i could do it all over again!

Arrival to now jade was quick and easy. We arrived with 7 other people, they went to check in and my husband and I were taken to the perferred lounge to check in which was very quick and easy. We were given an ocean front room in building 1 which is not one of the perferred buildings but they were giving us the perks that came along with it. The only difference is with the regular buildings and perferred is the size of the rooms and location. If we were alone maybe i would of pushed to be moved to the other buildings but because all of our guests were in buildings 1, 2, or 3 we didnt mind staying close together.
I definitely wouldnt suggest upgrading to perferred if you dont already have it. All you get is some bad wifi, youre able to eat breakfast in the french restaurant while everyone else eats at the buffet and the room is a bit bigger. Nothing special to waste money on.

The resort is very well kept, the grounds are beautiful and the staff is very nice. The restaurants are all very very good. The drinks are also very good but too much fruity drinks will make you go to the bathroom a lot. Probably 15 out of my 44 guests had some stomach issues but nothing bad enough that they couldnt enjoy themselves. Our age group was 26 and older so we all can drink and eat a lot! I am going to blame the stomach problems on all the drinking :) I didnt get sick at all and neither did my husband.
As far as nightlife goes there isnt much. The lobby bar closes by 1 AM and so does the "disco" . Since our group was always together at night we would end up getting beer or drinks from our rooms and meeting on the beach to keep partying or go back to someones room. You can always get a cab and go into the city too :)

The day before the wedding (thursday mat 15th) we had a welcome dinner at the buffet. They just put 2 long tables together for us so we can sit together and our families can meet and all chat. Since i hired an outside photographer, we used the photographer that was included with the divine package for the welcome dinner.

I brought welcome bags for all my guests and i brought them down to the wedding dept so they can put them in the guests rooms as they arrived. This was a big mess, they charge 4$ a room to deliver them and some ppl got double or didnt receive . If you have the patience to hand them out yourself just do that.

WEDDING DAY!
I had 7 people who needed hair and makeup, 4 bridesmaids 2 mothers and myself.  The 4 girls went together at 12:30, then the 2 moms and i went at 2:00 for our hair and makeup. I didnt bring any pictures (even though i had a bunch in my phone) but i had a general idea of what i wanted. Something to the side and curly. For makeup something natural. I just looked through their books and picked something i liked from there and it came out excellent. I had no complaints at all with my hair or makeup . I brought a flower and veil and they put them both in for my when we were done. They will use loads of hairspray but it is necessary since it is so hot there your curls will fall quick if they dont use enough.
3:30 our photographer met with the guys to take pics of them then 4:00 he came to my room to start pictures of us getting ready.
5:00 ceremony was at the pergola, 6:00 mix bar and then from 7-11 party at the terrace.
For the pergola i brought with me chair bows, bubbles, and 3000 rose petals. I wanted the sides of the aisle lined with the petals which they attempted to do but due to the wind they kinda were all over the place but still looked very pretty.  We had the violinist play during the ceremony as the guests were seated and everyone walked out and it was very nice.
We had a symbolic ceremony and it was beautiful! The minister spoke very clearly and there wasnt a language barrier, everyone heard everything that was said.

After the ceremony we went onto the beach to start with pictures while the rest of the group went to the mix bar for cocktail hr. For this i brought personalized napkins and straws and they were so cute! Darius made great drinks and everyone was pleased. Im not sure if the appetizers were good since i wasnt able to try anything :(

7:00 we started our reception! We had 44 guests so one long table was for family the other table for friends. I used the resorts centerpieces which were 3 different size vases filled with flowers and water and a floating candle on top. I brought paper lanterns, guest book, table runners, and thank you notes to leave on the tables. I also purchased mini tequila bottles through the resort for favors.
The dj introduced my wedding party then us, we danced on in then went into our first dance. After the first dance we sat down to eat. We had the caprese salad, lobster bisque soup and i gave 3 options for dinner, beef filet and shrimp, salmon, or chicken. The food was all very good! Unfortunately, there were so many mosquitos you kind of had to eat your soup quick, some people left their seats and by the time they came back they had a bunch of dead mosquitos in their soup.
The staff saw we were having issues with the bugs and brought out a bunch of bug spray.
Then after dinner we started the party ! We danced and partied until about 9:30 they served dessert which was the chocolate suffle with bailey sauce , then we did our parents dances, cake cutting then some more dancing. We hired fire dancers to end our party so around 10:50 the dj announced we had a surprise and for everyone to walk onto the beach. We walked down and there was a group of 7 people banging on drums and singing! The played the drums and did the fire dancing performance for about 40 min and that was our finale.
I feel like ive been typing forever now sorry! Oh i forgot about our meeting, wednesday we met with ariadna and went over all the details and contract. This took about an hour. She showed me the centerpieces again to confirm, and also my flowers . They were the white calla lilies but since my colors were purple and green she had the florist paint the callas purple and green which came out very nice and my bridesmaids had all white callas.
So the additions i paid for were: extending the reception by 1 hour, extending the dj 1 hour, 4 centerpieces, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 4 extra boutonnieres, extra appetizers for cocktail hr, they charge 40$ i believe for setting up the lanterns and tying the bows on the chairs , and also the fire dancers. The total i paid to now jade for everything was $8400. Remember, the fire dancers cost $1000 which is very pricey but we wanted something different to end the night, so without the performance we would of paid $7400.
I cannot add pictures in here for some reason but if anyone wants pics please feel free to contact me and i will email them to you!  Good luck everyone and dont worry everything will be beautiful!!!

I dont know why i cant edit this!

The pros are: beautiful beach, and resort. Everyone is very nice! Communication for me was always quick and easy with the wedding coordinators.

Cons: Many mosquitos during the dinner, crazy mix-up with welcome bags and the service was kind of slow even though EVERYONE got tipped. Many of my guests kept going down to the mix bar to get their own drinks.

Thank you for the review! I am about a month away and was getting nervous do to some of the most recent reviews. Would you be able to email me some of your pictures? My email is [email protected]

Also, do you have a copy of the vows? I don't know what to do for our vows!

I also chose the while calla lilies. I originally wanted them to be a sunset orange, but Isela told me they can't guarantee the color. Did they paint yours? I just sent in my form, but I am wondering if maybe I should change mine.

Thanks for your review. Were there mosquitoes every day here? Or was this kind of just a random occurrence? I've never been to Mexico, but that sounds like a turn-off..
