I’ve been on the History Channel. So I’m kind of a big deal. ? ;)

US Based Wedding Photographer

People often ask me how I got my start in wedding photography. The truth is i fell into it. Almost by accident. But after my first wedding I was sold. I moved full force ahead. And within a year I went full-time leaving behind my life as a therapist and social worker. And the rest, as they say, is history. Today, I feel so blessed to get to do something I love and to work with amazing couples all over the country and world!

I currently split my time between CA and Kansas City, both are local markets for me, never a travel fee. I live with my wonderful husband, awesome teenaged son, a short fat yellow lab named Mrs. Jones, a hound dog named Fern and two really loud birds.

Why Mexico?  After several months of traveling in South America, we decided to make the adventure more permanent. Being divers and travel junkies, we decided on Cozumel as our home base. We went back to the US, sold everything and moved to Mexico 4 months later.  We’ve been here since 2010.

 

30+ years of experience and a combined resume that includes 5 books for National Geographic, 3 years at the Brooks Institute  (a renowned photography school), experience working in more than 45 countries, and numerous assignments for magazines that include TIME, Smithsonian, Sunset and Geolino.

 

We guess you could say that photography is our thing.

How it Works?
Get into the Photo Face Booth, press the button and strike your pose! The booth will take 4 photos each one will be displayed on the monitor. Seconds later the 2 photo strips with the custom logo will be printed and available in the photo strip slot. We are Renaud and Severine, two young Europeans who started working in the Dominican Republic as photographers in 2000 and who created their own company four years ago.

Led by our passion for photography, we quickly realized that we wanted to offer a more personalized and professional service than the traditional "resort" picture that can be found in most of the places here and are now offering the same quality that you would find in your own country.
