  1. Hello everyone , please help me to choose the wedding shoes , I'm stucked with these 2 shoes now .

My wedding dress style is below , I have my wedding dress in customized with a champagne color .

I like the sparkled heels for wedding , but the lace heels one match the wedding dress much closer ?

Wow! Going to be gorgeous!! I vote for the  lace ones, those are stunning and bonus that they are a perfect match! Happy planning! :))

  2. Anybody else get the outrageously cruel email from karisma to all brides about using love and lace? I'm heartbroken. I really hope I can make it work but I want them to confirm in writing that they won't confiscate the stuff i bring in as another bride said that could happen but that seems totally insane. They are basically threatening that it's illegal and we could all be held responsible by the "government". Give me a break... how could a wedding decor rental be illegal.

  3. Hi! I'm getting married 1/21/17 at Azul Sensatori Resort in Mexico! I'm working on seating arrangements now and I know we're doing a buffet for food but I'm wondering, do I include my photographers in the seating as well??? I was planning on adding them to the buffet cause the vendor meals are lame and it seems silly for them to eat a sandwich and chips when there is a buffet full of yummy hot food that would be easier for them to get. Thoughts? What is everyone else doing? Thank you so much! :)

  4. Back to the planning thread after many months off! Now I'm 108 days away and getting very serious about getting everything done :). I'm happy to say that I have FINALLY found my wedding hairstyle! It's so hard to find multiple angles of these inspiration styles online making it hard to make a final decision but I tracked the photo down to the original stylist and found multiple angles on her site. Woohoo! Here's some photos for inspiration to anyone else: post-286323-0-30258900-1475712791_thumb.jpgpost-286323-0-52512700-1475712793_thumb.jpgpost-286323-0-80620500-1475712794_thumb.jpgpost-286323-0-43700100-1475712795_thumb.jpg

And I will be adding this gorgeous headband I got off etsy: post-286323-0-87881200-1475713143_thumb.jpgpost-286323-0-69443400-1475713144_thumb.jpg

More to come soon, happy planning ladies!!!! PS. I'll add my wedding dress post wedding in case my fiancé sneaks a peak at this thread! hehe!

  5. Hi everyone! Anyone have experience dealing with the live musicians? I have had my heart set on using a Live solo musician for the ceremony and having them play the Love Actually theme song ie. Glasgow Love Theme by Craig Armstrong for the processional. I had booked the violinist but their song lists are terrible and so short. It seems ridiculous to pay 700 for 45 minutes when we have zero control over song choices. My WC is looking to see if they will play it but she seems clueless about it so far. Anyone have any experience with these live musicians or have any advice? Anyone book a live musician and get to choose a song for them to play? That's what I'd love clarification on and I feel like my WC will never know. Thank you so much! :)

  7. @@MarieSamSanchezPhoto That's what I was trying to find actually was a salon nearby we could take a cab too actually! It seems azul sensatori might be out of the way though, I think the styling trio's salon was an hour drive. I'm hoping I can find another option but it's tricky to find online. Thank you so much for your thoughts! I appreciate it!

  8. Hi everyone!! I am getting married at Azul Sensatori in Mexico on January 21, 2017 and I'm really struggling with deciding on what to do for hair/make up. I'd really like to hire this Karen Lopez and she says that she can come to our room at the resort and all I'd have to pay extra is a daypass fee for a guest. I'm concerned I guess about this not working and they wind up charging me another whopping 800 dollar outside vendor fee. Too nerve wracking! But the salon prices at the resort are too high so I'd really like to go with another vendor for this. Any thoughts/advice or experience dealing with this kind of issue??

    Thank you!!! :)

  9. @@DestinationDelgado @@amyzig2 The uncovered white garden chairs are included for ceremony though and if you buy a private reception dinner (i'm doing petite gourmet buffet for 26 pp) then that includes garden chairs with a white cover plus tables and table settings and open bar area though I believe. Did you find this to be true too amy? Just making sure I'm not missing a huge expense here :)

  10. @@DestinationDelgado we are also doing the always and forever package, and it includes quite a bit. Surely it includes a gazebo too. I'm getting married on skydeck and definitely not paying extra for the gazebo there. I would log in to your wedding builder and click package and it will list everything, your WC is a great resource too :) Happy planning!

Anyone know how many bolts of fabric do I need for Sky Deck gazebo sheers??? Thank you!!

  11. Hi everyone!

I'm going with Jasmin and Matt photography who I highly recommend :) for my big day on 1/21/17 at Azul Sensatori in Mexico. The outside vendor fee is 800 dollars though...wowsers. Anyone ever negotiated this down or have any tips for doing so? It really seems over the top especially since I'm using the resort for everything else so it's not like they're not making plenty of money on me lol. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. Thanks! -Sarah :)  :)

  12. @@amyzig2 so they let you go to the site so people can get an idea of where to stand/entry/exit etc? I would love a quick walk-through on the sky deck like that as that's where our ceremony is! :D  :)  Thank you! Great information!

There was nothing formal. But about 30 min before our rehearsal dinner I had all the bridal party and parents meet and actually walk through how it was going to work.
I needed this for my own sanity if nothing else ha. They knew who their partners were and we figured out what order they will go in. I made them actually do the walk so they saw the spacing and when and where to go. It seems like common sense but I was pretty nervous about it.

The day of I told the girls to meet in my room at 11 AM. Photographer was coming at 1:30. Ceremony started at three. That whole time went by really really fast. Not much time for relaxing actually. The girls left to walk to the beach about 230 and me about 245-250
I was really freaked out about time bc I wasn't sure if there was enough music or when to start the bridal music. I'll be happy to share more details about that if you are interested.

  13. @@amyzig2 thank you! I'm actually doing the petit gourmet buffet and did not think about that at all, so the plates are picked up when getting the food so what all is placed on the table itself? And did you do any menu cards at all? I'm just trying to figure out how it's best to set each table of. Any photos would be super appreciated too :) Thanks!

My dinner was the Bbq buffet so guests picked up their plates near the food. There were no charger plates on the tables though. Considering how a la carter it is, I would assume they are not included

  14. Hi fellow brides!

I was wondering if anyone knew if the standard reception tables come with charger plates? I know when you get a private dinner it comes with like round tables and chairs covered with white cloths/covers  and then all dishes but I wasn't sure if a charger plate comes with it too underneath the regular plates. Does anyone know? And if so, do you have any pictures? Thanks so much! -Sarah
