  1. @@lynne1609 - wow so adorable!

@JamieCKL - Sorry, I meant no bridal party. So it was just my mom and I walking in.

For before the wedding, I had a whole playlist (not sure what they got to since I wasn't there). "Make you feel my love" by Adele, and Like I'm gonna lose you by Megan Trainor, and beat of the music by Brett Eldridge, Some Bob Marley etc, Jack Johnson.

Then I walked down to A Thousand Years - Christina Perri ;)

After the wedding we played "I do" by Colbie Callait, I wanted something fun and peppy.

  2. Hi Ladies! Congrats on your upcoming weddings. I just got my photos back. Can upload some soon! I can't wait to go back. :)

@@lynne1609 so exciting and SO CLOSE!

@JamieCKL - For songs... this is what I did.

    - I had three songs for the "pre wedding" so it wasn't silent when I was there

    - one song to walk down the aisle

    - one song to sign the documents (we did a legal ceremony)

    - one song for when we walked back down the aisle.

If you have bridesmaids you might want another one in there  before you. I didn't have any. You will literally sit in a 3 hour meeting with your wonderful coordinator to go over EVERY detail the day after you arrive so no fear!

I made two playlists on my phone, a pre-wedding, and a regular wedding. Alejandra was my coordinator and she wrote down the songs so she knew, she had my iphone to play it from. Easy!

  3. @@lynne1609 The blood test is a real in the arm - real deal but he is quick and it was the most painless experience I ever had getting blood drawn. Dont' worry!

For those wondering about shoes - I wore barefoot sandals, trust me you won't want shoes. Even the walkway that they put down is unsteady so better to be flat footed until the reception/cocktail hour when you're on solid ground.

  4. ahhh I know, it's coming so fast. we're t-minus 3 months right now, and I can't believe it!

I think having that many people is the perfect problem to have!! We are at 55 right now, did they tell you how many people you could have at the Lobster house w/dancing? I can't remember.

I hear ya about paying extra for the dance floor on the beach. And with you about not wanting to be fully inside. I've heard lots of great things about the foyer. It looks so pretty in pictures! Although I've also seen really beautiful pictures in Toscana. Remember you'll be outside with your guests for all of the time you'll be with them at the pool/the beach/the bars. So do whatever makes you comfortable and happy. Either will be beautiful. I have heard a few times how hot the Foyer gets though, so if that is a problem you may want a better air circulated area. What about Garibaldi Square? I could have sworn that was an option when I was looking (mine is also on a Friday).

  5. @@KeriT21 this is what they quoted me - they said they have 2 stylists on hand

The prices for the beauty parlor services are:

Hair Styling Long          2 hours.                                            $85 usd
Hair Styling Medium    1 hour and 30 minutes.                $75 usd
Hair Styling Short         1 hour.                                               $65 usd
Make up                     1 hour.                                                  $55 usd

    SpaManicure               50 min                                               $55 usd

Spa Pedicure               50 min                                               $55 usd

  6. @@KeriT21 I thought so too! I like the way it pops agsinst the sand. Shoes are a struggle though. So far..

Yes! They are doing my hair and makeup, I'm doing the Gold package so it's included. Which package are you guys doing? From what i've read on here and tons of other reviews the people at the spa do fantastic jobs. My friends/mom are getting their hair done as well that day.

  7. @@JaimeCKL stunning dress! Can't wait to see YOU in it! Similar top to mine, I love the straps!

Don't stress ladies about the slow response, what the other girls mentioned is correct they will take a while but trust me when it;s your time. they will direct their focus. All you have to remember is it's your day and they do a fantastic job, otherwise we wouldn't all be here!

What type of quotes are you getting for your centerpieces i'm torn if i want to do flowers on all or some candles. I'm tryign to keep it simple.

  8. @@kathryn78 I don't have my paper in front of me we decided on but based on what we were going to select it was about 1K cheaper. Also take a look at how much you get back meaning the photos. Juan gives much more. We didn't get a videographer but what we wanted was exactly what he offered. Just compare it apple to apples. See what he quotes you.

Also he said he always uses an assistant so that's his second photographer.

The vendor fee is 500. He took 250 off for a special he was running. We ordered a book with the photos that the ladies here recommended. It will be worth it since I most likely will be lazy to make my own and I've heard how amazing they are

Yeah I was very gung-ho on using Beach wedding studio until I compared prices.

And 72. That's amazing turnout. We have 50 and I thought that was a lot! I hear ya about not wanting to buy really expensive things. It adds up FAST

  9. I will post pics for sure!!! I can't wait.

Welcome bags - I'm still unsure. I'm trying to make the things easy as possible. So I think the items arnen't going to be that big. the bags are soft canvas so that will be easy. I think i'll pack them once I get to the hotel so it'll eb easier in suitcases. I still need more stuff to fill in it! What are you guys using so far?

  10. His email is [email protected] - definitely check him out.

I have the Gold package and I inquired of this as well. You can either have the photog at ERC do the ceremony and use Juan after, or not use it... it's up to you. It's included so I'm pushing to put that hour somewhere else. However, with the amount I'm saving w/Juan it really isn't bad to even skip their services.

Juan is an outside vendor so it's a completely different thing than what you'd pay the Excellence.

  11. @@mam9p8 Yay! Congratulations. From what I've seen on here, Los Olas made a BEAUTIFUL venue! So happy for you!

@@KeriT21 Welcome!! Isn't it so helpful. Best thing ever... I originally booked with Beach Wedding Studio - the in house photographer but recently switched. Based on the ladies recommendations here, we are now going with Juan Navarro. He is great, and has wonderful reviews as well as was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper even with the vendor fee you have to pay ERC. Check him out for sure.

As for me, we're down to 80 days! EEEE.. Picked my menu for our welcome party (we are doing apps and drinks so people mingle), and then the menu for our reception. Right now I'm working on gathering the rest of the stragglers that haven't booked yet, and buying things for our welcome bags!

  12. @@Sabes44, i'm with you. That'll probably be what iwill do so i don't have to worry about it. haha

@kjb0528 I think so! I wasn't really sure at first but when i put my dress up she put a cathedral veil on me which i definitely didn't think i wanted until i saw it on. I am buying some of those weights for the veil that they make.  figured if it was a long veil i could step on it if it starts blowing too much. haha

I'm looking for something to wear in my hair though whether that be a fresh flower or some sort of clip or comb so when i take the veil out i still have something..

You girls all look so pretty in your dresses (i keep looking back at past posts!)
