We didn't accomplish too much this weekend but I do have a couple things to update.

- Mike purchased his second white shirt sleeved dress shirt. His outfit is officially done. He does need his pants hemmed and possibly his vest taken in - he and my brother are taking care of that Saturday while I'm at my bachelorette

- Bought rhinestone bobby pins from Bitter Sweet. Not sure if I will use them day of but thought I better have a little bit of bling in my hair.

- My brother and parents were at our place for dinner tonight and I put them to work. We peeled all the stickers off our tumblers and attached our actual tumbler stickers. I'm in love with how they turned out - better than I expected.

- Mike and I both purchased more Mexico clothes this weekend. Still would like to get a few more things.

- I purchased a back-up white dress for the wedding night. I'm hoping I don't have to wear it but in the event I am too hot that I can't handle it anymore, I've got a great option

- Welcome Letter and Itineraries have been completed. I'm waiting on my girlfriends to edit them and then I'll send them to print.

This Week

- I started tanning early but have been slacking. Need to get back to the tanning salon.

- Continue with the gym. I've been pretty good and going 4 to 5 days a week. Need to focus on reducing carbs this month.

- Hair appointment Wednesday - good bye ombré. Ordering extensions from the salon while I'm there and booking my final appointment for the week before we leave.

- Lash extensions Thursday - will book fill for the week before we leave while I'm there.

- Meeting with our MCs tomorrow to go over the timeline. They've done this before and I'm so grateful to have their experience to lean on.

- Finish Hangover Kits for bachelorette party. Giving each of the girls a little something for coming

You were a GORGEOUS bride. I loved everything. Literally. Your dress, bridesmaids dresses, robes, flowers, decor...it all came together so beautifully!

Obviously I'm not a Now bride but all these reviews, regardless of location, are so helpful. I love that I've been able to follow your planning since pretty much the beginning.

Congratulations on being Mexico married ! Hope being back to work isn't too hard. I'm already dreading going back after two weeks and we're still a month out lol

Tumbler stickers arrived today! Bitter sweet because that was my last online purchase to come in. I'm going to miss coming home to my etsy finds

I don't know if you ladies are having the same experience or not but I really wish I had been able to stay with my Miami coordinator. My onsite coordinator is pleasant but misses emails and makes a ton of mistakes. I can only imagine how tricky it is on there end and really, it would have been easier of the coordinators if they hadn't switched us - especially this late into planning.

Our hankies arrived today! I only opened Mike's in case I couldn't package it back up properly and I'm really happy with them They came wrapped with a personal thank you note from the seller and were all individually wrapped with the recipients name. Inside there is a little card with care instructions. Adorable!

@@krystalball Welcome back! Can't wait to read all about YOUR wedding! You're so sweet. My mum actually called tonight on her way home to say she picked one up. She said she wants one to keep so between hers and my bridesmaids I think we'll be okay. Really appreciate the offer though!

- hankies and tumbler stickers have cleared customs and are in Canada; hoping we get them this week!

Overall we had a pretty productive weekend - thank goodness!

- Mike purchased one of his two white shirts. We need to visit another location as he and my brother bought the last two at that store.

- Cake stand is purchased. Another BDW bride is getting married three days after us at AF - she is bringing the cake stand for both of us to use and we will also both use the fake layer of cake my mum's friend is making.

- Purchased some summer clothes this weekend - two pairs of shorts and two new skirts!

- Selected bridesmaids heels!

- Created photo list and emailed to parents. Looks like we didn't miss any shots and are ready to share with our photographers.

- Set up a date to get together with our MCs to go over a timeline and little details.

- Emailed speakers regarding speeches and let them know we've allocated 30 minutes for their 5 speeches.

- Purchased three more bags of straws - all gold.

- Went through our song list and DJ song list and now know what needs to be downloaded. Still need to work on ceremony music but dinner and party music are done.

- My mum picked up the rest of our tea lights.

- Purchased "You are loved" makeup bags for my bridesmaids and they're in our wedding colours! Purchased earrings for the girls. Necklace and earrings will be wrapped in tissue and placed in the makeup bags for their day-of gift.

- Finished spray painting mason jars.

- Purchased Mike's day-of present - a Skagen watch; white face, cognac coloured band. Still searching for the perfect card.

Delegated Tasks lol

- Mum to look into limo to airport for myself, Mike, mum, dad & brother

- Mum to put together day of emergency kit

- Bridesmaid bringing her travel steamer; Mum to price out and purchase another one

- MOH to chalkboard draw welcome sign - I tried and it wasn't pretty. Bought easel and chalkboard this weekend; it's adorable!

If each day could be as productive as this weekend was we'll be ready in no time

Tumbler Stickers Ordered!

I dealt with Jean and he was always so quick to respond! He customized our stickers and sent the draft before I even paid.

This shop is more expensive than DavetDesigns but DavetDesigns couldn't customize to what I was looking for. I really wanted clear stickers and Jean was able to do that for me.

Here is the draft:

I ordered 12 blue, 12 red, 12 teal, 6 purple, 6 green and 6 orange. They should arrive in 6 to 10 business days.

Spa Update -

After a TON of back and forth emails I think our hair and makeup times will finally work.

Bridesmaids - 11AM hair, 12PM makeup

Me - 12PM hair, 1PM makeup

Mums - 1PM hair and makeup

4:30PM ceremony, no first look

I think this will work well and will leave lots of time for getting dressed and eating. What do you ladies think?

We have a group half your size and have two photographers coming. I definitely don't think you have to have two but for an extra $350 I'd strongly consider it. For getting ready pictures you could each have your own photographer and for the rest of the day you'll have double the pictures to pick from. I think that's daunting BUT your photos will be that much better. If one misses something, the other will likely capture it. Obviously I'm not speaking from experience but I really think you won't regret pending that extra $350 post-wedding.

There were so many shops to pick from with great sentiments but none that looked cute...until I found LarkspurAndLinen. I'll send pictures when I get them. They come with personalized labels and already gift wrapped. I anticipate tears will be shed when our families open them

Dress Update

IT'S HOME! So happy that is done.

My goal was to finish my shower thank you cards by today and I'm happy to say they're all done and went in the mail yesterday. Thank you cards take FOREVER! I'm glad I got them out in less than a week

Five of us went out last night for dinner and drinks and the rule was, only Mexico inspired drinks. Peach bellinis and piña coladas for everyone. I'm getting SO excited!

The wedding that never ends - how perfect is that? I hope the dinner with your dads side isn't awkward and that you and Sean have a great time. Yay for a PEI trip!
