You are so on the ball. I wasn't even thinking about table numbers and stuff. I don't know if I want to mess with that now to be honest. I might just get people to sit wherever. I wouldn't even know how to organize the seating.  awwwwww what to do? Maybe I can do place cards and just organize the seating that way. This way people are fighting over seats on the boat. At least then it's all laid out for them. I won't do table numbers I can just put names on cards and put them on the tables. What can I use to hold the name cards though? Something cheap and that won't take up no room cause to be honest I don't know if I have much room left.

2 weeks today and we leave (leave April 13th) and I still feel like I have so much to do. When do you fly out? @@pddcmc.

I'm only doing "special" table numbers because I'm going to have them as my "pop" of color. I didn't want to spend money on beautiful flowers that I won't even be able to enjoy very much afterwards. 

We leave the 15th! I only have FOUR days of patient care left! WOOO HOOOO 

So, have you started packing things? We still haven't... (mini-panic!)

My fear for you is on the boat placards would fly away or knock over. I wasn't on a boat and the wind knocked my frames over haha. It may be easier to do a seating chart but then if you don't do table numbers they wouldn't know which was which. Hmmmm let me think about it.

I hope mine don't get blown over. Was your reception on the beach? Ours is on the deck, so I am banking on the winds being a little more calm. I hope Maira (WC) will have something up her sleeve if it's too windy for my table numbers.

I am here on google now and pinterest trying to find ideas that are simple and cheap. And of course panicking at the same time..hahaha Why do I procrastinate so much?  I know you will probably come up with something. You have all the great ideas. No pressure....lol

Um. We STILL have a lot to do! My FI was working on the Welcome Letters on an adobe program (and this may be a little biased, but they looked FANTASTIC).. except his computer DIED. Just dead. done. zip. .... now he has to start all over! Oh, and does he have a shirt yet?? NO. AHHHHHH this wonderful man is going to give me a heart attack!

We are doing family tables and friend tables. I'm not having a big bridal party (MOH and Best Man) so that made it a little easier for seating arrangements.

Font for Table Numbers

I plan on using the design style below (left), but in our wedding colors and without all the wording.

ie coral for the outer border and blue paper with the number in black ink?

Place cards - we are still doing this shot glass idea from another bride. (I'll use the same font as the table numbers. I think I'll do the name cards in blue and the table number in coral..and just use blank ink for the words?)

I wish I could have loose, fun beachy waves, but my hair is too fine that the curls will just fall out. Plus, I don't want to worry about the wind blowing my hair in my face. 

I sent photos to my hair and make-up artists, so I think that'll be enough. I've read several reviews on them and brides saying they didn't even need a trial run, so I am banking on that.

Surprisingly, the mints, pepto, lip balm, and aloe vera all fit inside the cup, with room to spare!

I'm adding the starfish confetti just because it looks pretty

All I need to do is finish the Welcome Letter, design and attach tags, and get stickers for the cups. 

Wow, that still feels like a lot!

Couple of things:

1. I LOVE del sol photography EVEN more than before! Ael called me and we chatted about a few photos that I had sent them and their input/suggestions. She is THE sweetest! I cannot wait for Debora & Marina to capture our special day! 
2. Nothing like trying on your brand new wedding band and realizing how filthy your engagement ring is! I have to get mine cleaned. On that note, Woohoo! WEDDING bands!

• Finalize Wedding Planner Form (just a couple things to iron out, otherwise this can be checked off)
  
• Finalize Guest List & Seating Chart (gotta love those stragglers...)
  
• Finalize Ceremony script (FI will do this when he get back from his business trip). (and print a copy, just in case!)
  
• Music - getting ready, ceremony, first dance, AND reception
  
• Design and order stickers for cups (FI's going to do this... eventually)
  
• "Stuff" for cups - Instead of doing OOT bags, we are putting things inside the cups and attaching a tag to each one
  
•           Finish purchasing items for cups - I bought chewable Airborne packets, mini Johnson & Johnson first aid kits (obvi these won't fit in the cups), and mini Aloe Vera bottles for 97 cents at Target    . I also bought plastic baggies (I've read several times that people always find use for these?) and mint LifeSavers. Will will also add pepto and lip balm (still need to purchase).
  
• Finish said tags for cups
  
• Write Welcome "letter" - this will also be "stuffed" in the cups. This will include a welcome and thank you note from us, currency conversion ($1 USD = x pesos), restaurants and their hours & dress codes, an About Us section, a Who's Who section with bridal party and our moms, wedding day itinerary and reception menu, the resort map (this indicate wedding event locations), "tips", a list of places people traveled from to be at our wedding, and resort activities.
  
• FI's shirt (we have the pants and shoes)
  
• Print Alternative Guestbook (FI designed it)
  
• Start packing - I'm 97.4% 98.6% sure we will need to purchase an extra suitcase, or two
  
• Dog sitter - start taking the dogs to the sitter (as I have mentioned before, we are new to the state...and unfortunately, our dogs are spoiled and slow to warm up to people...the last thing we need is to worry about our fur babies)
  
• Go to the courthouse and make things legal    (we are getting our rings today!)
  
• Exchange money and get traveler's checks
  
• Finish place cards and table numbers
  
• Get e-ring cleaned
  
• Have final fitting (08 April)
  
• Purchase chalk markers or dustless chalk for chalk board easel
  
• Buy Tide stick, superglue (just in case something happens to the fans in transit), and more sunblock
  
• Buy a few new bikinis and rompers.
  
• OH! and I want a big, floppy sunhat 
  
• Gifts for moms, MOH, and best man (any ideas here? I am thinking about paying for our moms to go on an excursion of their choice. I don't know what else to do or what to get MOH & best man)

Getting Ready Robes :from etsy

I bought a blue robe for my MOH and a white one for myself... 
They are soft, I'll give you that. BUT, they are super, super thin....even the least modest girl would wear something under this particular robe.

I disagree with the sizing chart listed by the seller... my robe is rather big on me... I'll post pics sometime this week.

Silver lining, I guess I will still be able to wear it when I'm eventually pregnant? 

I received our robes about 2 weeks after I placed the order, which was much faster than listed (4-5 weeks).

I think we are going to get a lot of the "little" things done this weekend, so that will be a huge weight of my shoulders! Luckily, I don't have to work any more weekends leading up to us leaving for Mexico (woo hoo)!

I used to be on the NuvaRing and loved it, but I changed jobs (therefore insurance companies). Sadly, it waaaaay too expensive with my new insurance.

Don't mind at all girl. I would like this info too cause guess what? I think I will be on mine too on my wedding day or at least during that week.

It's not funny, but it is. It's like your my twin lol from the wedding date, to color selection, to style/taste, and now this? ..weird!

Yes, I am 96.7% sure that I'll be wearing wearing spanx... UGH. My birth control has failed me!!!! My stress level has been SO HIGH that my hormones are ALL messed up and I had breakthrough bleeding on the pill...pretty sure I'll be on my period ON MY WEDDING DAY!!! FML! So, not only will I be hormonal and emotional, but I'll be panicking the entire time I am wearing my gorgeous WHITE gown, and I'll be bloated. AWESOME.

OMG OMG I got my dress and I love it. I should have shopped on this store on Etsy before I bought my ceremony dress. This is an awesome trash the dress though. It needs to be taken in that's why I sm holding it in the back.
