My friend snapped that pic with his phone though, I'll receive hers in about a week. She was awesome.
They said they could loosen the boning but it might change the structure of the dress so they are reluctant to do it. The seamstress said "you look beautiful how do you feel" I said "like I can't breathe" and she said "you look beautiful" lol she completely ignored me. I even asked if I should lose a few pounds and she said no because it wouldn't change my ribs lol. She's a trip.
omg, i just LOVE your new profile pic! you both look so happy in love! congrats on the legal ceremony! and i'm sure by the time you're in paradise, ready to get married, your dress will fit like a glove! it's probably all the stress and the lack of oxygen at your fitting that made the dress seem a bit uncomfy! can't wait to see the photos from your big day...you're gonna look stunning!

Great idea about unplugging the ceremony only! Perhaps we'll consider doing that. I think a lot of my friends are more interested in taking pictures of themselves anyway (rather than me and the ceremony) since they'll be dressed up and in paradise! Haha! It would make sense to allow them to take photos during the reception. It certainly is something to think about though!

I ordered all of my supplies off of afloral.com and purchased my floral tape from Michael's. Originally I only had the white calla lilies but really wanted to add some color so I added the green cymbidium orchids and they look great, my bridesmaids dresses are coral.
The supplies I used:
14" real touch calla lily in white (one dozen per bouquet)
- 12" real touch Cymbidium Orchids (one bunch in each bouquet)- http://www.afloral.com/Silk-Flowers-Artificial-Flowers-Fake-Flowers/Floramatique-Real-Touch-Silk-Flowers/12-Cymbidium-Orchid-Wedding-Bouquet-in-Fuchsia-Pink_2
- 11" bling strands (4 in each bouquet) http://www.afloral.com/Floral-Supplies/Crystals-and-Jewels/10mm-Faceted-Bouquet-Beads-in-Silver-12-Pieces
**Make sure you Google coupons if you order off of afloral.com - I was able to find coupons each time I ordered
I haven't wrapped my bouquets yet but I will post pictures once they are finished! I'm really pleased the way they turned out, they look so real!!
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!!!
Wow! Great job! And thanks for the tips!

I read this article today about how couples are opting to have "unplugged weddings" and asking their guests to leave their cameras and camera phones at home (or turned off) so that everyone can just be free to enjoy themselves and be in the moment with the bride and groom. Also, these "guest photographers" would create terrible photos for the professionals (the article provides some examples)!
Is anyone considering "unplugging" their wedding? What are your thoughts?

congrats! your ceremony set up looks SOOOO beautiful! if you have a review with photos to share, it would be greatly appreciated! Also, did you have any children at your wedding? I'm wondering if the Beloved offers a children's menu for the wedding reception? Thank you!

any tips on how to order the pants? do you think it was the measuring or the fact that your FI lost weight? I'm so nervous about ordering because I hear some people had pants that weren't roomy enough in the leg and now I hear that the pants were too big. I saw a post a few pages back about adjusting the measurements in order to make sure the fit works, and I wanted to see if you had taken that advice and the pants still came out too big? thank you!

Thoughts from those who've been to the Beloved are greatly appreciated :-)
Hey BodaHermosa, keep in mind that if you do a reception on the beach, you'll have to rent lighting for that area. But I think having lights wrapped around the palm trees as well as cafe lights strung around the perimeter would look so romantic and cool. And maybe a lighted dance floor? Haha! Just some thoughts. It's like a blank canvas so you can bring in the details (but at an additional cost) that will make your reception unique!

I'm sorry if you answered this question, but how long did the dress take (from ordering to delivery)? Thanks so much for the help!
