About shanandcal

  1. I think it would be lots of fun and different. I recently went to a wedding that had a photo booth and although there was a line no one complained because we were having so much fun. My fiance is a caricature artist and according to him a picture should take no longer than 10 minutes per person. I don't think people will mind the wait, and also what a cool take home gift from your wedding! I hope this helped.
  2. Thank you for the tips. My TA is working my last nerves. I think my TA and I are breaking up soon. I am giving her one more chance!

RSVP language for cruise wedding in port

I hit submit too soon. We put all of our information on our wedding website. It spells everything out. And on our STD it forwards people to our website. If you inbox me I can forward you our web address.

I have not made my invitations yet. Basically we are verbally telling our VIP's they may attend our wedding without getting on the boat. So most people don't even know that option is available. And further more guests can't get on the boat if they are not on our guest list.

We are on Carnival as well. My fiance and I are not giving the option of attending the wedding and not sailing to the masses. We have preselected the people( My grandmother, great aunt, his aunts, etc.) we will allow to attend our wedding but not cruise. So on our invitations we are not even adding the option. Those individuals that will be attending but not cruising already know who they are. This way we won't have 100 people trying to attend and not cruise.
  8. I decided to go with a travel agent for 2 reasons. 1. I don't want people calling me and stressing me out with their questions. 2. I don't want people calling me and stressing me out with their questions. So far my travel agent has been helpful. She is like the middle man between my guests and carnival which is awesome.

    Cruise Dining Times

We chose early seating. This will be my first time EVER with early seating. We will see how the early seating works. My grandma eats early so I chose early seating for her. There is nothing worse than a grumpy granny!

    2014 Cruise Brides

I am getting married July 2, 2014 on the Carnival Fantasy Leaving out of Charleston, SC. I chose July because both my fiance and I are teachers and we wanted to make sure all of our teacher friends will be out of school. We booked our wedding last week. I am SOOOO excited!
  12. I went shopping back in May and I was given a shaper to wear. But I brought a strapless bra and I wore some boy cut shorts. I did not commit to a dress but I did at least find the shape I like for my body. ((I think!!))
